Safety
⢠Theîvacuum cleaner should only be used as described in
theîmanual. Only use accessories that are recommended by
theîmanufacturer.
⢠Do not expose theîvacuum cleaner and its mains lead to
moisture, blows or high temperatures.
⢠Never immerse theîvacuum cleaner in water.
⢠Do not expose theîvacuum cleaner to direct sunlight for
prolonged periods.
⢠Do not use theîvacuum cleaner if theîmains lead or its plug
is damaged. Do not use theîvacuum cleaner if you have
dropped it on theîďŹoor, left it outdoors or if it has been in
contact with water.
⢠Do not leave theîvacuum cleaner unattended when it is
connected to aîpower point.
⢠Always unplug theîvacuum cleaner from theîpower point
when it is not in use. Turn theîvacuum cleaner off and grip
theîplug itself when disconnecting it from theîwall socket.
Do not pull theîlead.
⢠Do not vacuum outdoors or on wet surfaces. Store theîvacuum
cleaner indoors.
⢠Do not carry or pull theîvacuum cleaner around by theîmains
lead and avoid closing aîdoor on theîlead and pulling it
around sharp edges or corners.
⢠Do not insert any item into any opening other than theîsuction port.

⢠Keep theîair intake free from dust, ďŹuff, hair and anything that
can reduce theîairďŹow.
⢠Do not vacuum any burning or smoking objects such as hot
ashes, matches or cigarette butts. Do not vacuum any liquids.
⢠Do not use theîvacuum cleaner for vacuuming construction
site waste such as cement, gypsum or concrete dust.
⢠Take extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
⢠Do not use theîvacuum cleaner if theîair intake dust ďŹlter or
exhaust ďŹlter is damaged, clogged or not in place. Always use
theîcorrect dust ďŹlter.
⢠Theîvacuum cleaner should not be used if it or theîmains lead
is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
⢠Theîvacuum cleaner must only be repaired by qualiďŹed service
technicians.
⢠Theîmains lead should be checked regularly. Do not use
theîvacuum cleaner if theîmains lead or its plug is damaged.
⢠Theîmains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent theîrisk of electric shock or ďŹre and should only be
carried out by theîmanufacturer, authorised service facility or
aîqualiďŹed tradesman.
⢠Theîvacuum cleaner can be used by children aged from
8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of theîappliance in aîsafe way and
if they understand theîhazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
⢠Keep theîvacuum cleaner and its mains lead out of reach of
children under theîage of 8.
⢠Theîvacuum cleaner may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or
knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they
have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding
theîsafe use of theîproduct and understand any hazards involved.
