Safety
• Thevacuum cleaner should only be used as described in
themanual. Only use accessories that are recommended by
themanufacturer.
• Do not expose thevacuum cleaner and its mains lead to
moisture, blows or high temperatures.
• Never immerse thevacuum cleaner in water.
• Do not expose thevacuum cleaner to direct sunlight for
prolonged periods.
• Do not use thevacuum cleaner if themains lead or its plug
is damaged. Do not use thevacuum cleaner if you have
dropped it on thefloor, left it outdoors or if it has been in
contact with water.
• Do not leave thevacuum cleaner unattended when it is
connected to apower point.
• Always unplug thevacuum cleaner from thepower point
when it is not in use. Turn thevacuum cleaner off and grip
theplug itself when disconnecting it from thewall socket.
Do not pull thelead.
• Do not vacuum outdoors or on wet surfaces. Store thevacuum
cleaner indoors.
• Do not carry or pull thevacuum cleaner around by themains
lead and avoid closing adoor on thelead and pulling it
around sharp edges or corners.
• Do not insert any item into any opening other than thesuction port.

• Keep theair intake free from dust, fluff, hair and anything that
can reduce theairflow.
• Do not vacuum any burning or smoking objects such as hot
ashes, matches or cigarette butts. Do not vacuum any liquids.
• Do not use thevacuum cleaner for vacuuming construction
site waste such as cement, gypsum or concrete dust.
• Take extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
• Do not use thevacuum cleaner if theair intake dust filter or
exhaust lter is damaged, clogged or not in place. Always use
thecorrect dust filter.
• Thevacuum cleaner should not be used if it or themains lead
is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
• Thevacuum cleaner must only be repaired by qualified service
technicians.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Do not use
thevacuum cleaner if themains lead or its plug is damaged.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, authorised service facility or
aqualified tradesman.
• Thevacuum cleaner can be used by children aged from
8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of theappliance in asafe way and
if they understand thehazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep thevacuum cleaner and its mains lead out of reach of
children under theage of 8.
• Thevacuum cleaner may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or
knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they
have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding
thesafe use of theproduct and understand any hazards involved.
• Never let children play with thevacuum cleaner.
