Safety
⢠This product is aîprecision instrument and should be handled with care and
protected from blows and rough treatment.
⢠Place theîscale at theîsame location every time you weigh yourself.
⢠For accurate readings, theîscale should be placed on aîhard, level surface.
Anîuneven ďŹoor beneath theîscale can cause theîreadings to ďŹuctuate.
⢠Weigh yourself without clothing at theîsame time of day, preferably in theîmorning
before breakfast. Placeîyour feet in theîsame place every time you weigh yourself.
⢠The displayed readings are rounded up/down to theînearest 100îg.
⢠The scale can be cleaned using aîdamp cloth, if and when required. Makeîsure
that no moisture gets inside theîproduct. Neverîuse solvents or strong detergents.
⢠Keep theîscale away from water and splashes, theîelectronic components can
beîdamaged.
⢠Do not store theîscale standing on its edge as theîdisplay will be on all theîtime
and quickly drain theîbatteries.
⢠Remove theîbatteries from theîscale if it is not to be used for anîextended period.
⢠The scale can be affected by changes in temperature or by being moved.
Inaccurate readings may occur if theîscale is too cold when used. Allowîtheîscale
to stand and acclimatise for approx. 24 hours before using it for theîďŹrstîtime.
⢠This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. Thisîproduct should not be used by anyone who
does not have theîproper experience or knowledge of theîproduct unless they have
been instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for their safety.
⢠Never let children play with theîproduct.
Batteries
The battery compartment on theîbottom holds four AAA/LR03 batteries.
1. Open theîbattery compartment and insert theîbatteries. Referîto theîmarkings in
theîbattery compartment.
2. ReďŹt theîbattery cover.
Note: âLoâ will appear on theîdisplay when theîbatteries need changing.

Operation
Warning: Bearîin mind that theîglass surface
might become slippery when wet. Makeîsure that
theîsurface is dry before stepping onto theîscale.
1. Press [ UNIT ] (see ďŹg.) to select theîunit of
measurement. Readings can be given in either
kilograms (kg), pounds (lb) or stones (st).
2. The scale should be placed on anîeven level
surface.
3. Carefully mount theîscale with your weight evenly distributed between both feet.
Remainîstationary until theîdisplay shows aîsteady reading. Theîdisplay ďŹashes
once theîreading has been registered.
4. The scale automatically shuts off as soon as you step offîit.
Note: Ifîtheîscale is overloaded âErrâ will appear on theîdisplay.
Care and maintenance
Clean theîproduct by wiping it with aîsoft, damp cloth.
Neverîuse solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Ifîyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.
