ENGLISH
⢠The motor of the snow blower is ďŹtted with an overload safety cut-off device which protects the motor
by switching it off if it is overloaded. The overload safety cut-off device does not have a reset button, it
resets automatically when the motor has cooled down.
⢠If the motor cuts out, let it cool down before switching it on again.
General safety precautions
⢠Theîsnow blower must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from physical or mental
impairment. Thisîproduct should not be used by anyone that has not read theîinstruction manual unless they
have been instructed in its use by someone who will take responsibility for their safety.
⢠Read carefully through theîinstructions and inform yourself about all controls and functions and how to
correctly use theîsnow blower.
⢠Never let children or others who do not have theîadequate knowledge of these instructions use
theîsnowîblower. Localîordinances can have restrictions regarding theîuserâsîage.
⢠Remember that theîuser/driver is always ultimately responsible for accidents caused by use of theîsnow blower.
⢠Be careful not to fall or slip, especially when theîsnow blower is in reverse.
⢠Never use theîsnow blower whilst under theîinďŹuence of drugs, alcohol or medicine. Doînot use theîproduct
if you are tired orîsick.
⢠Theîsnow blower must only be repaired by qualiďŹed staff and only using originalîparts.
⢠Never use accessories not approved for use by theîmanufacturer or theîretailer where theîsnow blower
wasîpurchased.
Preparations
⢠Make sure that theîarea being cleared is free from loose and foreign objects.
⢠Remove all service tools/keys before switching theîsnow blowerîon. Aîspanner or other tool which has been
left on aîrotating part of theîblower could result in anîinjury.
⢠Make sure that theîcontrols are easily manoeuvrable and that they return to their original position when released.
⢠Pre-plan theîarea to be cleared in order to avoid personal or property damage by ďŹying objects.
⢠Never use theîsnow blower without proper clothing. Useîappropriate footwear with solid traction especially in
slippery conditions.
⢠Under no circumstances may maintenance and service be performed when theîengine is on

⢠Let theîsnow blower adjust to outdoor temperatures beforeîuse.
Electrical safety
⢠If using anîextension lead, make sure that it is designed for outdoorîuse.
⢠Never modify anîextension lead or its plug in anyîway. UnmodiďŹed plugs and suitable wall sockets minimize
theîrisk of electric shocks.
⢠Do not abuse theîmainsîlead. Neverîuse theîmains lead or extension lead to pull or jerk theîplug from theîwall
socket. Keepîelectrical leads away from heat, oil, sharp edges and movingîparts. Neverîuse aîdamaged
mains or extensionîlead.
⢠Never use theîsnow blower if its on/off switch is damaged or malfunctioning. Makeîsure that it is repaired by
aîqualiďŹed electrician before usingîit.
Safety precautions during use
⢠Make sure to keep hands and feet away from rotatingîparts. Avoidîtheîdischargeîchute.
⢠Theîsnow blower cannot be used for any other purpose than for removingîsnow.
⢠Be careful when using on gravel paths, pavement andîroads. Beîattentive for possible hazards and
nearbyîtrafďŹc. Avoidîsteep inclines.
⢠Never point theîdischarge chute towards public roads or trafďŹc.
⢠Stop theîengine immediately if you have struck aîforeign object. Inspect theîmachine carefully after such

⢠If theîsnow blower begins to vibrate abnormally, turn off theîengine immediately and ďŹnd theîcause.
Vibrations are normally aîsign of problems.
