Warning! Laser emissions.
Laser class II, 635 nm.
Never look directly into the laser beam.
Do not look at the laser beam through an optical instrument.
2. Description
âą This laser generates a reference line, which when
used indoors or in indirect sunlight provides a visible
reference line on the surface it is pointed at.
âą Ideal for hanging wallpaper borders and trim.
âą Intended for indoor use.
âą Laser glasses, tripod, batteries and case included.

1. Safety
âą Keep the productâs warning labels in readable condition.
âą Never point the laser towards people or animals and never
look into the laser yourself. Even low intensity lasers can
cause permanent eye damage.
âą This product contains no parts that you can repair yourself. This
product must not be dismantled, opened or modiîed in any way.
âą The laser may not be used for other purposes other than to
project laser lines for the purposes of measuring.
âą This measuring instrument emits a Class 2 laser beam
according to the IEC 60825-1 standard. There is a possible
risk that this laser if used improperly could cause blindness
in humans and animals.
âą The laser viewing glasses must not be used as safety glasses.
The laser viewing glasses improve the visibility of the laser
beam but do not protect eyes from laser radiation.
âą Laser viewing glasses must not be used as normal sunglasses
or in street trafîc.
âą Laser viewing glasses do not provide complete UV protection
and reduce colour perception.
âą Only let qualiîed tradesmen repair this instrument
and only using original parts.
âą Never point the laser onto reîective material.
âą This product is not a toy. Never let children use the laser level
without supervision. There is a possible risk of inadvertently
blinding someone.
âą Never position the laser level in such a way that the beam
projects at eye level and could shine into someoneâs eyes.
âą Never leave the laser switched on unattended. Always turn
it off after completing a measurement. There is a possible
risk that someone could be blinded by the laser beam.

Setting up the laser level
1. Place the product on a hard, îat and level surface.
2. Make sure that the bubbles in the bubble vials (2)
are roughly centred.
3. Centre the bubble vials by adjusting the X and Y
axis adjusting screws (3).
6. Care and maintenance
Wipe off any dirt with a soft, lightly moistened cloth.
7. Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this
product. If you are unsure of how to dispose of
this product, please contact your local authority.

The laser beamâs range is dependent upon lighting conditions.
Strong sunlight reduces the range considerably.
5. Use
1. Make sure the rotation laser is both vertical and level
(see âSetting up the laser levelâ).
2. Use laser vision glasses to better see the laser beam.
3. Turn the on/off switch (4) clockwise to start the laser.
Turn the switch to gradually increase the rotation speed.
4. The laser projects a laser point on the ceiling which can
be used for certain measurement applications.
5. The level also comes with a target plate that can be attached
to a staff and positioned in the area and used as a height refer-
ence. This target can be moved to other areas to be measured.

Inserting the batteries
The battery compartment is on
the back of the level.
1. Press the battery compart-
ment release tab and pull out
the battery holder.
2. Insert the included AAA/LR03
batteries according to the
markings in the battery holder.
3. Reinsert the battery holder.
âą Remove the batteries from
the product if it is not to be
used for an extended period
to avoid battery leakage.
âą Remove any depleted batteries.
âą Do not subject the batteries
to very high temperatures or
throw them onto the îre.
âą Do not short circuit the batteries.
âą Never mix old and new batteries.
âą Never use rechargeable batteries
as they have too low a voltage.
