Safety
⢠Place theîcoffee maker on aîdry and stable surface out of childrenâs
reach to prevent anyone from being scalded by hot coffee.
⢠Theîcoffee maker should only be used as described in this manual.
⢠Always unplug theîcoffee maker from theîwall socket before
cleaning it and when it is not in use.
⢠Ensure that theîappliance is used with theîcorrect voltage.
Refer to theîrating plate on theîappliance.
⢠Never allow theîcoffee maker to be on for anîextended time.
It is recommended that you use aîshort-cycle time switch
between theîplug and wall socket to turn theîcoffee maker off
after aîset time in case you forget to switch it off.
⢠Do not pull or carry theîcoffee maker by theîlead. Do not use
theîlead to carry theîcoffee maker and do not crush it in door
jambs. Do not pull it around sharp corners and edges or over
warm surfaces, such as warm hobs.
⢠Never immerse theîcoffee maker in water and do not expose
it to knocks, blows or high temperatures.
⢠Never use theîcoffee maker if you have dropped it on theîďŹoor,
left it outdoors or dropped it into water.
⢠Theîmains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theîcoffee
maker if theîmains lead or plug is damaged.
⢠Theîmains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent theîrisk of electric shock or ďŹre and should only be
carried out by theîmanufacturer, authorised service facility or
aîqualiďŹed tradesman.
