SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please read the instruction manual carefully before
using the device. Please keep these instructions,
the guarantee certicate, the sales receipt and, if
possible, the carton with the inner packaging.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by
persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the use of
the appliance by a person that is responsible for
their safety.
• By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer
cannot be hold responsible for the damage.
• To protect children against the dangers of electrical
appliances, please make sure that you never leave
the appliance unattended. Therefore you have
to select a storage place for the appliance where
children are not able to grab it. Make sure that the
cable is not hanging in a downward position.
• This appliance is only to be used for household
purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
• The appliance must be placed on a stable, level
surface.
• All repairs should be made by a competent
qualied repair service(*).
• Make sure that the appliance is stored in a dry
environment.
• Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds
to the main voltage of your home. Rated voltage:
AC220-240V 50Hz. The socket must be at least 16A
or 10A slow-protected.
• This appliance complies with all standards
regarding electromagnetic elds (EMF). If handled
properly and according to the instructions in this
user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on
scientic evidence available today.
• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and
make sure the cord cannot become entangled.
• The use of accessories that are not recommended
by the manufacturer can cause injuries and will
invalidate any warranty that you may have.
• Unplug the appliance from the socket when
changing the spare parts or for maintenance.
• To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or
any other liquid.
• Do not use this appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or when the appliance has malfunctions,
or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid a
hazard make sure that a damaged cord or plug

• This appliance is intended to be used in household

other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments;
– catering and similar non-retail applications.
* Competent qualied repair service: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person
who is qualied, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In
any case you should return the appliance to this repair service.
INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE
• Install the appliance on a rm, horizontal surface. To level the appliance, use a spirit level or a vessel
containing water, if necessary. Avoid installing the appliance in direct sunlight or near any source
of heat. The distance between the rear of the appliance and a wall shall not be less than 10 cm, and
the minimum ventilating space from the sides of the appliance shall never be less than 5 cm. In
all cases, the location shall be protected from rain and splashing. To guarantee a good level of air
circulation, do not obstruct the ventilation grids of the upper, lower or rear surface of the appliance.
• Complying with the above will ensure ecient and economical cooling.
• Before the rst use of the appliance, clean the inside and the cover of the appliance with warm
water, adding detergent if necessary. Never use an abrasive product.
Operation with the mains
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage specied on the label (on the
rear of the appliance).
• If the electrical specications are correct, push the safety electrical plug into an earthed wall socket
which is wired according to the specications.
Start-up
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the MAX position. The eects of the cooling process (frost on
the evaporator) only become visible after about an hour. The thermostat enables the temperature
of the refrigerator to be adjustable (“0”=cooling process stopped). After a sucient cooling period
(approximately 5 hours), the thermostat can be set to an intermediate position. The selected
temperature is regulated automatically by the thermostat.
Shut-down
• Turn the thermostat knob anti-clockwise to the “0” position.
• Remove the plug from the wall outlet.
STORING FOOD
• Liquids to be stored in the refrigerator shall always be placed in a closed vessel.
• The air circulation inside the appliance must not be obstructed.
• Never place hot food or drink in the appliance.
• Never keep ammable liquids and/or gases inside the appliance. Danger of explosion.
Defrosting – Measures to be taken if the appliance is to be left unused for a long period
• The appliance must be defrosted regularly, in order to ensure that it operates correctly.
• To defrost the appliance, disconnect it and remove all food. If necessary, use a cloth soaked with
hot water. After de-icing, mop up the water with a dry clean cloth and clean the inside.
• In order to prevent unpleasant odor, leave the cover of the refrigerator slightly open.
MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance regularly with warm water, containing a detergent if necessary.
• Never use an abrasive product. Dry the cleaned surfaces with a soft cloth. Use only clear water to
clean the seal of the cover, and then coat the seal with talcum powder.
• All repairs, particularly of the cooling unit, must mandatorily be carried out by a qualied
technician.
SERVICE
If a problem occurs, carry out the following checks:
• Is the appliance installed in a horizontal position?
• Is there sucient ventilation?
• For 220V mains operation, check that the mains supply is correct. And is the thermostat set
correctly?
• Has too much food been placed inside the appliance all at once? Arrange the food so that the air is
free to circulate inside the refrigerator.
• Do not use pieces cardboard or plastic as separations. Keep vessels containing liquids closed.
If, despite the above checks, you still need to contact the service department, describe the failure and
state the type of equipment and its serial number (these are marked on the rating label).
GUARANTEE
• This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is valid if the product is used in
accordance to the instructions and for the purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original
purchase (invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of purchase, the name of
the retailer and the item number of the product.
