When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be always followed,

capsules. CBTL⢠assumes no liability for damages from use that is not in accordance with the instructions.
4. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in îre, electric
shock or injury to persons.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Contact for examination, repair or adjustment.CBTLâ˘
6. To protect against îre, electric shock and injury do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
7. Never touch cord with wet hands.
8. Do not overîll water tank.
9. Never put the appliance or part of the appliance into dishwasher.
10. Make sure that the power supply voltage matches the rating shown on the data plate on the bottom of the
appliance.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Brewer dispenses very hot water.
Keep appliance, capsules and accessories out of reach of children.
14. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
15. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Never touch the cable with wet hands. Allow to cool
before putting on, adding or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
16. Scalding may occur if the lever is lifted during brewing cycles.
17. To disconnect, turn power switch to âoî
â, then remove plug from the power outlet.
18. This appliance is equipped with a power cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The appliance must
be grounded using a 3-hole properly grounded outlet. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces
the risk of electrical shock.
19. Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord or use an adapter.
20. To avoid an electrical circuit overload, do not use another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit with your
CBTL⢠System.
