Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before connecting your device
to the mains, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular
attention to the safety information. If you pass the device on to a third party, these
Operating Instructions must also be handed over.
SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Incorrect operation and Improper handling can lead to faults on the device and injuries
to the user.
2. In the event of improper use or incorrect handling, no liability can be accepted for any
damages that may occur.
3. Before you put the plug into the socket, please check that the type of current and mains
voltage correspond to the instructions on the nameplate on the underside of the
appliance.
4. Keep the base away from damp, and protect from splashes.
5. Do not immerse the unit or mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life
due to electric shock! However, if this should occur, remove the mains plug
immediately and then have the unit checked by an expert before using it again.
6. Do not operate the device if the mains cable or the mains plug show signs of damage,
if the device has fallen on the oor or has been otherwise damaged. In such cases
take the device to a specialist for checking and repair, if necessary.
7. Ensure that the mains cable does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from
hot objects and open ames. Only pull it out of the socket by the plug, not by the cable.
8. Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface, away from hot objects
(e.g. hotplates), nakedames; do not place under curtains or low wall-cupboards.
9. This device is not suitable for commercial use nor for use in the open air.
10. You should never leave the device unattended during use.
11. Children cannot recognise the hazards which attend improper handling of electrical
devices. Therefore, children should never use electrical domestic appliances
unsupervised.
12. Use the kettle only with the base supplied, and do not use the base for any other
purposes.
13. Do not overll! Check the level indicator (MAX) when lling.
14. Never remove the kettle from its base while in operation. Switch the appliance o󰀨 rst.
15.Take care to close the lid properly before switching on. Otherwise, the appliance will
not switch o󰀨 automatically and hot water may overow.
16.The kettle is for heating water only, and is not to be used for any other uids.
17. Always hold the lid closed when pouring the water out. Beware of scalding!
18. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and super-
vised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less
than 8 years.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is intended to used in household and similar applications such as:
- sta󰀨 kitchen areas in shops, o󰀩ces and other working environments
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.

1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Clean the kettle by lling with clean water and bringing to the boil (see ”Operation”).
3. Pour away the water then repeat the operation.
1. Wind out the mains cord only as much as necessary. Draw it out through the opening in the base and connect
it to a suitable mains socket. Place the base on a at surface.
2. Open the lid by pressing the lid release button and pour in the desired quantity of water. While doing so,
watch the water level mark inside the appliance. Never go below the
minimum (MIN) or above the maximum (MAX) marks.
3. Close the lid by pressing the cover down and ensure that the kettle is switched o󰀨 before setting it on the
base.Remember to cover the lid tightly,otherwise it will not cut o󰀨 the electricity automatically even after the
water has boiled.
4. Press the switch down to the position ”I”. The appliance will begin to operate, and the indicator light will come on.
5. When the water boils, the appliance will switch o󰀨 automatically and the indicator light will go o󰀨.
6. You can pour the water out without opening the lid.
7. If you wish to stop the boiling process or interrupt it temporarily, switch the appliance o󰀨 by pushing the switch
upwards to the position ”O”, before removing the kettle from its base.
BEFORE FIRST USE
OPERATION
This appliance comes with a safety device
which automatically switches o󰀨 the heater
element if the applicance is inadvertently
switched when empty, or if it boils dry.
In this case, let the applicance cool down
completely, before lling with water again.
Please also observe the safety advice
for this.
1. Always remove the plug from the mains
socket before cleaning the base. Let the
kettle
cool down completely.
2. Clean the outside of the kettle and the
base with a soft damp cloth. Do not use
scouring materials.
3. Descale at regular intervals. Use a des-
caling agent, which can be obtained from
specialist shops, and follow the instructi-
ons given.
4. Don’t use any metal object or hard object
to clean the heater otherwise it will be
scraped.

FUNCTION MANUAL
1. Basic operation:
Press the key shortly, with a sound, it
starts running with green indicator. After
the water boils, the indicator change to red
color and the buzzer sends out a sound at
the same time.
Note: The knob light will be o󰀨 5 minutes after water boiled
2. Function of keep warm:
Press the for 3 seconds, with the buzzer sends out a
sound, it starts running the function of keep warm with the
green indicator light ashes. The display will show when
the kettle is in keep warm function.
Turn the for keeping warm at
40 °C/50 °C/60 °C/70 °C/80 °C/90 °C/100 °C.
Note: The keep warm function will be o󰀨 itself after 2 hours
without any operation
3. Function of temperature setting:
Press the key shortly, with a sound, it starts running with
the green indicator.
Turn the for setting the temperature at
40 °C/50 °C/60 °C/70 °C/80 °C/90 °C/100 °C.
After the water reach the required temperature, the indicator
change to red color and the buzzer sends out a double
sound at the same time.
