INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Charging the Appliance
IMPORTANT! Only use the adaptor supplied with this appliance.
Before using the appliance for the rst time, or when the appliance
has not been used for a considerable time, the clipper must be
charged continuously for 16 hours. Maximum battery capacity will
only be reached after 3 charging/discharging cycles. A full charge will
provide approximately 40 minutes use.
To charge the appliance:
• Insert the adaptor into the base of the appliance, plug in to a suitable
mains socket and switch on. The charging indicator will illuminate when
the adaptor is correctly inserted into the appliance and connected
to the mains.
• Once the appliance is fully charged, unplug the adaptor from the mains.
• Ordinarily, the appliance may be charged overnight.
• Although there is no risk of over charging, it is not advisable to charge
the appliance continuously for more than 24 hours. This will help
prolong the life of the battery.
• In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable
batteries, the appliance has to be fully discharged every 6 months
approximately. Then recharge the appliance to full capacity, again for
16 hours.

• To attach a comb guide, ensure the appliance is switched off. Position
the comb guide over the front of the clipper blade and slide over the
head. Push and click the rear of the comb guide into position.
• To remove the comb guide, ensure the appliance is switched off.
Push the tab on the rear of the comb guide away from the head and
lift off.
