SECURITY MEASURES
Please read this manual carefully before using the product to avoid
damage during use. Before switching on the product, make sure
that the technical specifications of the product shown on the label
correspond to the parameters of the electric network. Incorrect use
can lead to damage of the product, cause material damage or cause
damage to the health of the user. Use only for household purposes
in accordance with this Manual. The product is not intended for
commercial use. Use the product only for its intended purpose. Do
not use the product near the kitchen sink, outdoors and in rooms
with high humidity. Always unplug the product from the electrical
network when it is not in use, as well as before assembly, disas-
sembly and cleaning. The product must not be unattended while
it is connected to the electric network. Make sure that the power
cord does not touch the sharp edges of furniture and hot surfaces.
To avoid electric shock, do not attempt to disassemble or repair the
product by yourself. When disconnecting the product from the elec-
tric network, do not pull on the power cord, hold the plug. Do not
twist or wind the cord. The product is not designed to be operated
by an external timer or a separate remote control system. ATTEN-
TION! This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision. Do not use accessories
that are not included in the delivery suite. ATTENTION! Do not al-
low children to play with plastic bags or wrapping film. THREAT OF
SUFFOCATION! ATTENTION! - Do not use this product outdoors. AT
TENTION! Be especially careful if children under 8 years or people
with disabilities are close to the product in use. ATTENTION! Do
not use this product near combustible materials, explosives, or self-
igniting gases. Do not install this product near a gas or electric stove,
or other heat sources. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children under 8 years to touch the body,
the power cord and the plug of the power cord while the product
is in operation. If the product has been kept for a while at a tem-
perature below 0ºC, it must be left at room temperature for at least 2
hours before switching it on. ATTENTION! Do not handle the power
cord and the power cord plug with wet hands. ATTENTION! Unplug
the product from the electric network every time before cleaning,
and also if you do not use it. ATTENTION! When connecting the
product to an electrical network do not use an adapter. ATTEN-
TION! To avoid overloading the electric network, do not connect the
product with other powerful electrical appliances to the same elec-
tric network. Remove food immediately after cooking. If CAUTION!
food is present in the switched on device for a very long time, it can
lead to their ignition. CAUTION!The metal parts become very hot
uring operation. Never remove food with sharp objects, CAUTION!
they can damage the non-stick coating. Do not place the product in
the immediate vicinity of the wall and furniture, the distance from
the device to any surfaces should be at least 30-40 cm. CAUTION!
Do not cover the device with towels or other objects while using
the appliance. CAUTION! Install the device on a flat level and stable
surface, away from the table edge. CAUTION! Do not use aluminum
foil, paper packaging or other items, as they may cause a fire. AT-
TENTION! The power cord plug has a wire and a grounding prong.
Connect the product only to a properly grounded socket. ATTEN
TION! For additional protection in the power circuit, it is advisable
to install a residual current device with a rated operating current not
exceeding 30 mA. To install the device, contact a specialist.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the device from its packaging, remove all packaging ma-
terials. Wipe the case with a damp cloth, then wipe it dry. Install
the device on a flat level, heat-resistant surface, away from kitchen
heat sources. Before using the device for the first time, apply a small
amount of vegetable oil to the non-stick coating of the working sur-
faces and distribute it. Remove excess oil with a paper towel, close
the product, switch it on for 5-10 minutes, then turn it off. At the
initial start-up, new heating elements can emit a specific smell and a
small amount of smoke. This is not a malfunction.
OPERATION.
Connect the device to the mains, and the indicator light (1) will light
up. After about 3-5 minutes, the working surfaces will reach the re-
quired temperature. The indicator light (2) lights up. The device is
ready for use. Take the handle, open the product. Do not open the
product while heating the working surfaces, in the closed position
the working surfaces heat up more evenly and faster. Be careful:
The housing gets very hot during operation. To avoid burns, do not
touch hot surfaces, and when opening the product, hold only the
handle. Be careful and watch out for hot steam coming out of the
gaps between the work surfaces. Do not raise your hands or place
other exposed parts of the body close to the work surfaces. Do not
use for heating and cooking food to defrost. The duration of cooking
depends on the products used. Before eating products, make sure
they are ready. Remove products from the product immediately af-
ter cooking, prolonged stay of products in the switched-on product
may cause them to catch fire. Do not remove cooked products using
sharp metal objects, which can damage the non-stick coating of the
work surfaces. Always use plastic or wooden accessories designed
for cookware with a non-stick coating.
PREPARATION OF WAFFLES.
4 eggs; 1/2 l of milk; 500 g of flour; 150 g of butter or margarine;
4 tbsp. sugar; 2 tsp baking powder for the dough.
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat the whites. Melt butter
or margarine and cool slightly. Add sugar, baking powder, melted
butter or margarine to the sifted flour and mix. Introduce the beaten
whites into the dough first, and, continuing to mix, then the yolks.
Fill the bottom rack of the waffle maker with enough batter and
flatten it. Bake the waffles on the heated work surfaces for about 3
minutes. Periodically monitor the baking process.
CLEANING AND CARE
Always unplug the product from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Let the sandwich cool completely. Wipe the non-stick surface with a
damp cloth, using a mild detergent, and then wipe it dry. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or metal scourers for cleaning as they can damage
the internal non-stick surface or the appearance of the product. Do
not immerse the device in water!
STORAGE
Before storage, make sure that the product is disconnected from electric network. Complete all the requirements of the CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE section. Keep the product in a dry, cool place and out of the reach of children.
