L’apparecchio é costruito in coformità alle Norme Europee ed
alle richieste delle Direttive: 73/23 CEE (Sicurezza elettrica
Bassa Tensione), 89/336 CEE (Compatibilità Elettromagnetica),
93/68 CEE (Regolamentazioni marcatura CE).
Prima di installare e/o usare la cappa:
• leggere attentamente ed integralmente le istruzioni;
• assicurarsi che la tensione (V) e la frequenza (Hz)
indicate sulla targa matricolata all’interno dell’apparecchio
corrispondono a quelle disponibili nel luogo di installazione.
Si consiglia di afdare l’installazione a personale competente.
1 INSTALLAZIONE
Questa cappa può essere utilizzata in modo aspirante o ltrante.
L’apparecchiatura messa in opera dovrà distare dal piano di
cottura non meno di 65-70 cm. Non deve essere sovrapposta
a stufe con piastra radiante superiore. La fuoriuscita dell’aria
viziata deve sottostare ad eventuali norme vigenti. Per
l’installazione dell’apparecchiatura alla parete sono previsti due
diversi sistemi di ssaggio in base al modello acquistato (Fig.
1-2).
A) Tasselli di sospensione e livellamento.
B) Tasselli di bloccaggio.
C) Viti di ssaggio del camino alla cappa (solo per i modelli
dove previsto).
D) Staffa e viti di ssaggio camino al muro.
ASPIRANTE (evacuazione esterna)
I fumi della cucina vengono espulsi all’esterno attraverso una
tubazione. Collegare detta tubazione con diametro adeguato
al raccordo in dotazione (Fig. 3). La tubazione dovrà essere
comunicante con l’esterno dell’abitazione.
In nessun caso la tubazione deve essere collegata a condotti di
scarico di combustione (stufe, caldaie, bruciatori, ecc.).
Nei locali dove siano in funzione contemporaneamente la
cappa nella versione aspirante e stufe a legna, stufe a gas,
caldaie a combustibile, ecc. è necessario assicurare un’entrata
d’aria dall’esterno, in quanto la cappa sottrae all’ambiente aria
indispensabile per una corretta combustione.
I ltri a carbone attivo non vanno applicati alla cappa nella
versione aspirante.
FILTRANTE (ricircolo interno)
I fumi passano attraverso i ltri a carbone attivo per essere
depurati e riciclati nell’ambiente cucina. Il foro di uscita dell’aria
deve essere libero e comunicante con l’ambiente cucina (Fig.4).
Per controllare che i ltri a carbone siano installati, togliere i ltri
metallici agendo come indicato (Fig. 5).
2 COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO
Questo apparecchio deve essere collegato àd ùn impianto
dotato di messa a terra. Sono possibili due tipi di collegamento
alla rete:
1. Mediante l’uso di una spina normalizzata alla quale va
collegato il cavo di alimentazione ed inserita in una presa
dell’impianto che deve risultare accessibile (per scollegare
in caso di manutenzione).
2. Mediante allacciamento sso alla rete, interponendo un
interruttore bipolare con apertura dei contatti di almeno 3
mm. Il collegamento di terra (cavetto giallo-verde) non va
interrotto.
3 FUNZIONAMENTO
La cappa è prowista di un motore a più velocità. Si consiglia
di usare la bassa velocità nelle condizioni ordinarie e le altre
velocità nei casi di forti concentrazioni di odori e vapori.
Si consiglia inoltre di mettere in funzione la cappa quando si
inizia a cucinare e di mantenerla in funzione no alla scomparsa
degli odori.
COMANDI A PULSANTI ELETTROMECCANICI
I comandi sono dotati di tasti per l’accensione della lampada,
per l’accensione del motore e la selezione della velocità di
funzionamento.
Una spia luminosa segnala il funzionamento del motore.
COMANDI ELETTRONICI
I comandi (Fig.7) sono dotati di tasti per l’accensione della
lampada TL, per l’accensione del motore e la selezione della
velocità di funzionamento T1-T2-T3-T4
Alla prima pressione del tasto T1 si accende il motore alla 1^
velocità alla seconda pressione si spegne a qualsiasi velocità
impostata. I tasti T2-T3-T4 accendono il motore rispettivamente
alla 2^ alla 3^ ed alla 4^ velocità, per spegnere premere T1. I led
luminosi L1-L2-L3-L4 indicano la velocità impostata.
AUTOSPEGNIMENTO: Per attivare l’auto spegnimento, si deve
accendere la cappa e, successivamente, tenere premuto il tasto
“T1” per alcuni secondi no a quando tutti i led cominciano a
lampeggiare. Premendo uno dei tasti (T1, T2, T3, T4) si può
programmare il tempo di auto spegnimento, che sarà diverso a
seconda del tasto premuto (T1=5 minuti, T2=10 minuti, T3=15
minuti, T4=20 minuti). Durante il tempo dell’auto spegnimento
è possibile modicare la velocità impostata. Se la scelta del
tempo di spegnimento corrisponde alla velocità impostata il led
della velocità lampeggia; se la scelta risulta diversa il led della
velocità rimane sso.
TIMER FILTRI: Dopo 30 ore di funzionamento della cappa, allo
spegnimento della medesima, tutti i led si accenderanno con
luce ssa per 30 sec. ad avvisare la necessaria pulizia dei ltri in
alluminio. Il tasto T1+T4, tenuto premuto a lungo con aspiratore
spento, resetterà il timer. Se questo tasto non viene premuto la
stessa operazione si presenterà una volta spenta nuovamente
la cappa. Questo procedimento verrà a ripetersi le successive
30 ore no a raggiungere le 120 ore di funzionamento. Allo
scadere delle 120 ore, allo spegnimento della cappa, tutti i led
si accenderanno a luce lampeggiante per i successivi 30 sec. a
ricordare la pulizia dei ltri in alluminio e, se la cappa è ltrante,
la sostituzione dei ltri a carbone attivo. Una volta resettato il
timer (sempre con Il tasto T1 +T4 tenuto premuto a lungo con
aspiratore spento) tutto il processo si ripresenterà alla prossima
scadenza di 30 ore di aspirazione.
4 MANUTENZIONE ED AVVERTENZE
Prima di ogni operazione di manutenzione o pulizia staccare
l’alimentazione elettrica della cappa.
Una cura particolare va rivolta ai ltri metallici i quali hanno la
funzione di trattenere le particelle grasse contenute nei vapori.
I ltri metallici devono essere lavati almeno ogni mese in acqua
calda e detersivo (anche in lavastoviglie). Lasciare asciugare
prima di rimontare.
ATTENZIONE: il grasso trattenuto dai ltri metallici è facilmente
inammabile. È pertanto necessario provvedere regolarmente
alla pulizia dei ltri come da istruzioni.
Per rimuovere i ltri metallici eseguire le operazioni in Fig. 5.
I ltri a carbone attivo hanno la funzione di trattenere gli odori
presenti nei fumi di cottura. L’aria viene rimessa in ambiente
depurata. I ltri a carbone attivo non devono essere lavati ma
vanno sostituiti 2 o 3 volte l’anno in conformità all’uso della
cappa. Richiedere gli stessi al Servizio Assistenza oppure alla
Ditta costruttrice.
Per la sostituzione togliere i ltri metallici e ruotare i ltri a
carbone attivo in senso orario no a sganciamento dal motore
(Fig.6).
Per montare i ltri nuovi invertire le operazioni.
La pulizia della cappa va eseguita con un panno morbido
inumidito e con detergenti liquidi neutri; non usare solventi, né
benzine, né abrasivi.
È proibito cucinare alla amma sotto la cappa.
Per friggere tenere sotto costante controllo l’operazione in
quanto l’olio può incendiare.

The equipment is constructed in accordance with European
Standards and the requirements included in the followin
Directives: 72/23 EEC (electric-low tension safety), 89/336 EEC
(electromagnetic compatibility), 93/68 EEC (EC marking
regulations).
Before installing and/or using the hood:
• read all the instructions thoroughly;
• make sure that the voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) rating
indicated on the plate inside the hood unit correspond to
the mains supply available;
We rocommend that the equipment be installed by expert
personnel.
1 INSTALLATION
This hood can be used as an extractor or a ltering unit.
The unit must be tted at a distance of at least 65-70 cm. from
the cooking hob. It must not be mounted above cookers tted
with top radiant plate. The contaminated air must be discharged
in a manner complying with current regulations.
Two different wall-mounting systems are used, depending on the
model (Fig. 1-2)
A) Handing and levelling brackets.
B) Retaining screws.
C) Hood/ue securing screws (Just where it’s provided)
D) Flue/wall bracket and securing screws.
EXTRACTOR (fumes exhausted externally)
Cooking fumes are conveyed away from the kitchen to the
outdoor environment by way of ducting. Connect said tube
with suitable diameter to the junction supplied (Fig. 3). The
tube should have its outlet outside the house. This pipe must
not under any circumstances be connected to cooker, boiler
or burner exhaust pipes, etc. If the hood is operated in suction
function whilst stoves, gas cookers, fuel-fed boilers. etc. are
being used, ventilation from outdoors must be provided.
The suction model hood is not tted with a carbon lter.
FILTER (internal air recycle)
In this instance, cooking fumes directed up through the activated
carbon lters are puried and returned as clean air to the
kitchen. The air outlet must be unobstructed, and freely open to
the kitchen space (Fig. 4).
Check that the carbon lters are installed by removing the metal
covers as illustrated (Fig. 5).
2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
This appliance must be connected to an earthed power supply.
Two types of electrical connection can be used:
1. Using a standard plug connected to the power cable and
inserted in a mains socket which must be accessible at all
times (so that the plug can be disconnected when servicing
is carried out).
2. By means of a xed mains connection, tting a bipolar
switch with contact openings of at least 3 mm. The ground
connection (yellow-green wire) must not be interrupted.
3 OPERATION
The hood is equipped with a multispeed motor.
It is recommended that low speed be selected for normal kitchen
conditions, and higher speeds only to combat a heavy build-up
odours and vapours.
ELECTROMECHANICAL PUSH BUTTONS
The controls include an ON/OFF switch for the built-in light, and
a further switch for activating and selecting the running speed of
the motor. An indicator light remains on as long as the motor is
in operation.
ELECTRONIC CONTROLS
The (Fig. 7) controls have buttons for switching on the TL
ling, for switching on the motor and selecting the T1-T2-T3-T4
operating speed.
When the T1 button is pushed for the rst time, the motor
starts running at the 1st speed; when the button is pushed for
the second time, the motor turns off at any set speed. Buttons
T2-T3-T4 turn on the motor respectively at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th
speed. Press T1 to turn the motor off. The luminous LEDs L1,
L2, L3, L4 indicate the set speed.
AUTO POWER OFF: To activate the auto power off, rst turn
on the hood and, then, push down the “T1” button for a few
seconds until all LEDs start ashing. By pressing one of the
buttons (T1, T2, T3, T4) it is possible to program the auto
power off time, which will be different according to the button
pressed (T1= 5 minutes, T2=10 minutes, T3=15 minutes, T4=20
minutes). The set speed can be changed during the auto power
off time. When the auto power off option corresponds to the
previously set speed, the speed LED ashes; if the option is
different, the speed LED is xed.
FILTER TIMER: After the hood has worked for 30 hours, all
LEDS will switch on with a xed light for 30 seconds when the
hood is turned off indicating that the aluminium lters need to be
cleaned. The timer will reset if the T1+T4 button is pressed for
a few seconds with the exhaust fan turned off. If this button is
not pressed, the same operation will occur again once the hood
is switched off again. This operation will occur every 30 hours,
until 120 functioning hours are reached. Once the hood has
worked for 120 hours and it is turned off, all the LEDs will turn
on with a ashing light for the following 30 seconds indicating
the that aluminium lters need cleaning and, if the hood is a
ltering hood, the active carbon lters need to be replaced.
Once the timer has been reset (by keeping the T1+T4 button
pressed down for a few seconds with the exhaust fan turned
off), the entire process will present itself again after the next 30
exhausting hours.
4 MAINTENANCE AND REMINDERS
Always disconnect the hood from the electrical power supply
before commencing any maintenance or cleaning operation.
Particular care must be given to the grease lters, which serve
to trap grease particles entrained in cooking vapours.
The grease lters are metal, and must be washed at least once
a month with warm water and detergent (dishwasher clean is
sufcient).
Dry throughly before retting.
ATTENTION: the grease collected in the lter can easily catch
re and it is therefore extremely important to clean the metallic
lter on a regular basis as per instructions.
Grease lters are removed as illustred (Fig. 5).
The function of the activated carbon lters is to prevent the
spread of odours present in the cooking fumes. Clean air is
returned to the kitchen. Activated carbon lters cannot be
washed or serviced, and must be replaced 2 or 3 times a year
according to the amount of use.
Spare lters are obtainable from dealers or direct from the
manufacturer.
Removal: detach the metal covers and rotate the carbon lters
clockwise (Fig. 6) until free of the motor.
Retment: position the new carbon lters and reverse the
procedure. The hood should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth
using neutral liquid detergents. Do not use solvents, petroleum
products or abrasives.
Never cook ambe’ dishes under the hood. Never leave the hob
unattended when frying, as oil or fat can catch re.
