Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, or the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1.
The dryer must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1, CSA C22.1.

In the State of Massachusetts, the following installation instructions apply:
â Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor, plumber, or gas fitter qualified or licensed by
the State of Massachusetts.
â Acceptable Shut-off Devices: Gas Cocks and Ball Valves installed for use shall be listed.
â A flexible gas connector, when used, must not exceed 4 feet (121.9 cm).
