Dieses Kühlgerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber

Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steck-
dose.
Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere
Verbraucher von der Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein
Schnellladegerät anschließen.

Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose ange-
schlossen ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie
das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst
kann die Fahrzeugbatterie entladen werden.
Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender
oder lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.
Dieses Kühlgerät enthält in der Isolierung brennbares
Zyklopentan. Die Gase im Isolationsmaterial erfordern ein
besonderes Entsorgungsverfahren. Führen Sie das Kühlgerät
am Ende seiner Lebensdauer einer ordnungsgemäßen
Entsorgung zu.
2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Kühlgerätes
!VORSICHT!
Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und
Stecker trocken sind.
AACHTUNG!
Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes,
außer wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür
empfohlen werden.
Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen
Flammen oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke
Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Kühlgerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder
Gegenständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.
Schützen Sie das Kühlgerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

3 Lieferumfang
Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, ob alle zum Lieferumfang gehö-
renden Teile vorhanden sind.
4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Kühlbox eignet sich zum Kühlen und Warmhalten von Lebensmitteln. Die
Kühlbox ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet.
Alle in der Kühlbox verarbeiteten Materialien sind unbedenklich für Lebens-
mittel.

5 Technische Beschreibung
Das Kühlgerät ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Es kann Waren bis max.
30 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen (thermostatische Abschaltung
bei ca. 0 °C) bzw. kühl halten oder auf max. 65 °C erwärmen bzw. warm
halten.
Hat das Kühlgerät den eingestellten Temperaturbereich erreicht, so wird
automatisch in den Energiesparmodus umgeschaltet. In diesem Modus wird
ausschließlich die Energie verbraucht, die zum Erhalten der Temperatur im
Inneren des Kühlgerätes benötigt wird.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch
einen Lüfter.

Das Kühlgerät verfügt über eine automatische Vorrangschaltung. So wird
sichergestellt, dass bei gleichzeitigem Anschluss an das Wechselstromnetz
und an eine 12/24-V-Batterie das Wechselstromnetz genutzt wird.
6 Bedienung

6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
I
Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
Wenn Sie eine erhöhte Energieeffizienz und eine begrenzte Kühlleistung
für das Kühlgerät einrichten wollen, nutzen Sie den ECO-Modus des
Kühlgerätes.
Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Kühlgerät kühl
halten.
Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.
6.2 Kühlbox öffnen
➤Nur TCX35: Entriegeln Sie das Kühlgerät (Abb. 2, Seite 3).
➤Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät.
HINWEIS
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es
aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten
Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ auf
Seite 14).
HINWEIS
Ein Lüfter im Innenraum des Kühlgerätes sorgt für die Umwälzung
der kalten Luft innerhalb des Kühlgerätes, wodurch eine bessere
Kühlleistung erzielt wird. Damit die kalte Luft beim Öffnen des
Kühlgerätes nicht nach außen gelangt, ist es mit einem Schalter
ausgerüstet, der den Lüfter ausschaltet, sobald der Deckel geöff-
net wird.

6.3 Kühlbox einschalten

➤Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät
– mit dem mitgelieferten Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel (Abb. 1 2,
Seite 3) an eine Wechselstromsteckdose an oder …
– mit dem mitgelieferten Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel (Abb. 1 3,
Seite 3) an die Gleichstromsteckdose im Fahrzeug (Abb. 4, Seite 4)
an.
➤Drücken Sie die Taste „P“ am Bedienfeld, um das Kühlgerät einzu-
schalten.
✓Das Kühlgerät startet mit dem Kühlen oder Heizen des Innenraums:

➤Wenn Sie zwischen Kühlen und Heizen umschalten möchten, drücken
Sie die Taste „HOT/COLD“.

✓Die rote oder blaue Betriebsanzeige leuchtet, und das Gerät beginnt zu
kühlen/heizen.
➤Wenn Sie den Kühl- oder Heizvorgang beenden möchten, drücken Sie
die Taste „P“.
➤Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät außer Betrieb nehmen, trennen Sie es vom Netz.
ACHTUNG!
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände oder Waren im
Kühlgerät befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt oder
erwärmt werden dürfen.

HINWEIS
Die Steuerung des Kühlgerätes besitzt eine Memoryfunktion: Sie
merkt sich den gewählten Temperaturbereich für jeden Modus
(Kühlen und Heizen). So wird bei jedem Einschalten oder
Umschalten der vorher gewählte Temperaturbereich des jeweili-
gen Modus eingestellt.

➤Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
➤Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Kühl-
gerätes frei von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb
entstehende Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Kühlgerät keinen
Schaden nimmt.
8 Entsorgung
➤Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.
MWenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, infor-
mieren Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei
Ihrem Fachhändler über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.
WARNUNG!
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Kühlgerät von
der Stromversorgung.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser
oder gar im Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungs-
mittel oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät
beschädigen können.

Mit einer nichtmetallischen Bürste und
einem Lösungsmittel die Fassung der
Gleichstromsteckdose reinigen, so dass
der mittlere Kontaktstift sauber ist.
Wenn Ihr Kühlboxstecker in der Fassung
der Gleichstromsteckdose sehr warm
wird, muss entweder die Fassung
gereinigt werden, oder der Stecker ist
möglicherweise nicht richtig zusammenge-
baut.
Die Sicherung des
Gleichstromsteckers
ist durchgebrannt.
Tauschen Sie die Sicherung (Abb. 6 1,
Seite 4) des Gleichstromsteckers durch
eine gleichwertige Sicherung aus.
Die Fahrzeug-Siche-
rung ist durchge-

you may discharge the battery.
The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic
materials or materials containing solvents.
The cooling device contains inflammable cyclopentane in the
insulation. The gases in the insulation material require special
disposal procedures. Deliver the device at the end of its life-
cycle to an appropriate recycling.
2.2 Operating the device safely
!CAUTION!
Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
ANOTICE!
Do not use electrical devices inside the cooler unless they are
recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose.
Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).

5 Technical description
The cooling device is suitable for mobile use. It can cool goods up to max.
30 °C under ambient temperature (thermostatic switch-off at approx. 0 °C) or
keep them cool or warm them up to max. 65 °C or keep them warm.
If the device has reached the set temperature range, it will automatically
switch over to the energy save mode. In this mode only the energy which is
required to reach the temperature inside the box is consumed.
The cooling is a wear-free thermo-electric cooler with heat removal through
a ventilator.
The cooling box is equipped with an automatic priority circuit. Thus it is
ensured that with simultaneous connection to the AC mains supply and to a
12/24 V battery, the AC mains supply will be used.

6.1 Tips to save energy
I
Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
If you want to set an increased energy efficiency and a limited cooling
capacity for the cooler device, use the device’s ECO mode.
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device
to keep cool.
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
NOTE
Before you put the new cooling device into operation, you should
clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons
(see also chapter “Cleaning and servicing” on page 24).
NOTE
A ventilator in the interior space of the cooling device provides for
the circulation of the cold air within the box. Thus a better cooling
capacity will be achieved. In order that the cold air cannot reach
the outside when opening the cooling device, it is equipped with a
switch which turns off the ventilator as soon as the lid is opened.

6.2 Opening the cooler
➤TCX35 only: Unlock the cooling device (fig. 2, page 3).
➤Open the cooling device.
6.3 Switch on the cooling box

➤Place the cooling device on a stable base.
➤Connect the cooling device
– using the AC connection cable supplied (fig. 1 2, page 3) to an AC
mains power socket or ...
– using the DC connection cable supplied (fig. 1 3, page 3) to the DC
socket in the vehicle (fig. 4, page 4).
➤Press the button “P” at the control panel to switch on the cooling device.
✓The cooling device starts to cool or heat the interior space.
NOTICE!
Take care that there are only objects or goods in the cooling
device which may be cooled or heated to the selected tempera-
ture.

6.4 Switch over between cooling and heating
➤If you want to switch over between cooling and heating, press the
button “HOT/COLD”.

✓The red or blue operating display lights up and the device starts to cool/
heat.
➤When you want to finish the cooling or heating process, press the
button “P”.
➤When you stop using the cooling device, disconnect it from the mains.
6.5 Select temperature
The status display of the temperature (fig. 3 5, page 3) indicates the
selected temperature range. With an increasing number of illuminating LEDs,
the intensity of the temperature range also increases.

➤If you want to select the temperature to cool/heat, press the button “ ”,
until the requested temperature range is reached.
NOTE
The control unit of the cooling device has a memory function.
It memorises the selected temperature range for each mode
(cooling and heating). Thus the temperature range which is
previously selected in the mode is set again with each switching
on or switching over.

The following temperature indications are subject to tolerances
and are dependent on the measuring position.

La glacière thermo-électrique est destinée à maintenir des denrées
alimentaires au froid et au chaud. L’appareil est également approprié
pour l’utilisation en camping.
Tous les matériaux utilisés pour la construction de la glacière thermo-
électrique n’ont aucun effet nocif sur les denrées alimentaires.

5 Description technique
La glacière thermo-électrique est destinée à l’utilisation mobile. Elle peut
refroidir ou maintenir au frais la marchandise au maximum jusqu’à 30 °C
sous la température ambiante (mise hors circuit thermostatique à env. 0 °C)
ou encore la réchauffer ou maintenir au chaud à une température maximale
de 65 °C.
Dès que l’appareil a atteint la plage de température ajustée, il est automati-
quement commuté en mode d’économie d’énergie. Dans ce mode, l’énergie
utilisée est uniquement celle nécessaire pour maintenir la température à
l’intérieur du coffre.
Le refroidissement consiste en un système Peltier exempt d’usure, avec
dissipation de chaleur par le biais d’un ventilateur.
la glacière thermo-électrique est équipée d’une commutation prioritaire
automatique. Ceci permet de garantir, en cas de raccordement simultané
au réseau à courant alternatif et à une batterie de 12/24 V, que le réseau à
courant alternatif est toujours utilisé.

6.1 Conseils pour économiser de l’énergie

Choisissez un emplacement bien aéré et à l'abri du soleil.
Si vous souhaitez une efficacité énergétique accrue et une puissance
frigorifique limitée pour votre glacière, utilisez le mode ECO.
Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les déposer dans la
glacière.
Ne pas ouvrir la glacière plus souvent que nécessaire.
Ne laissez pas la glacière ouverte plus longtemps que nécessaire.
6.2 Ouverture de la glacière
➤Uniquement TCX35 : déverrouillez la glacière (fig. 2, page 3).
➤Ouvrez la glacière.
REMARQUE
Avant la toute première utilisation de la nouvelle glacière thermo-
électrique, il est recommandé pour des raisons hygiéniques de
nettoyer l’intérieur et l’extérieur du coffre avec un chiffon humide
(voir également chapitre « Nettoyage et entretien », page 35).
REMARQUE
Un ventilateur placé à l’intérieur de la glacière thermo-électrique
se charge de la révolution de l’air froid à l’intérieur du coffre, ceci
permettant d’obtenir une meilleure puissance frigorifique. Afin
d’empêcher une sortie de l’air froid lorsque la glacière thermo-
électrique est ouverte, celle-ci est équipée d’un interrupteur met-
tant le ventilateur hors marche dès que le couvercle est ouvert.

6.3 Mise en marche de la glacière thermo-électrique

➤Placez la glacière thermo-électrique sur un fond stable.
➤Raccordez la glacière
– ou avec le câble de raccordement au courant alternatif fourni
(fig. 12, page 3) à une prise de courant alternatif ou...
– ou avec le câble de raccordement au courant continu fourni (fig. 13,
page 3) à la prise de courant continu du véhicule (fig. 4, page 4).
➤Appuyez sur la touche ‘P’ sur le panneau de commande pour mettre la
glacière thermo-électrique en marche.
✓La glacière thermo-électrique commence alors à refroidir ou à réchauffer
l’intérieur :
6.4 Commuter entre refroidir et réchauffer
➤Pour commuter entre refroidir et réchauffer, il faut appuyer sur la touche
‘HOT/COLD’.

✓La lampe témoin rouge ou bleue s’allume et l’appareil commence à
refroidir/réchauffer.
AVIS !
Veillez à ce que les objets ou les marchandises figurant dans la
glacière thermo-électrique soient vraiment appropriés au refroi-
dissement resp. au réchauffement à la température choisie.

6.7 Retrait du couvercle
Vous pouvez retirer le couvercle de la glacière (fig. 5, page 4) :
➤Ouvrez le couvercle de telle sorte qu'il forme un angle de 30° avec la
glacière.
➤Tirez le couvercle vers l'avant et soulevez-le ensuite en biais.
7 Nettoyage et entretien

➤Nettoyez de temps à autre l’appareil à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur avec un
chiffon humide.
➤Assurez-vous que les ouvertures d'aération et de ventilation de l'appareil
ne sont pas encombrées de saletés ou de poussières, pour que la chaleur
générée par le fonctionnement soit évacuée et que l'appareil ne soit pas
endommagé.
8 Elimination
➤Jetez les emballages dans les conteneurs de déchets recyclables prévus
à cet effet.
MLorsque vous mettrez votre produit définitivement hors service,
informez-vous auprès du centre de recyclage le plus proche ou
auprès de votre revendeur spécialisé sur les prescriptions relatives
au retraitement des déchets.
AVERTISSEMENT !
Avant toute opération de nettoyage ou d'entretien de l'appareil,
veillez à le mettre hors secteur.
AVIS ! Risque d'endommagement !
Ne nettoyez jamais la glacière à l’eau courante et ne la
plongez pas non plus dans l'eau.
N'utilisez pour le nettoyage ni produits abrasifs ni objets durs
qui pourraient endommager la glacière.

➤Pulse la tecla “P” del panel de mandos para encender la nevera portátil.
✓La nevera portátil inicia el enfriamiento o el calentamiento de su interior:
