WATER KETTLE

Read this booklet thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
INTENDED USE
This water kettle is only to be used for boiling fresh water. It may not be used for
heating any other liquids or foodstuff.
Obeying the instructions within this manual is essential for safe installation and use.
This appliance is for private household use only. Do not use outdoors. Other
applications are not allowed.
Safety instructions
1. When using your kettle basic safety
precautions should always be fol-
lowed including the followings , :
2. Read all instruction carefully and
thoroughly, before any operation of
the kettle.
3. The appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
4. The appliance can be use by children
aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Chil-
dren shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without super-
vision.
5. Before connecting the kettle, check
whether the voltage indicated on
the appliance (underside of kettle
and base unit) corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this
is not the case, contact your dealer
and not use the kettle.
6. Switch off and unplug from the
outlet before filling, emptying or
cleaning, or when not in use.

13. To avoid possible steam damage,
not face the spout when operating
the kettle.
14. If operated on wood furniture, use
a protective pad to prevent
damage to delicate finishes.
15. To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid
is correctly positioned before operation.
16. Scalding may occur if the lid is
removed while heating.
17. Carefully open the lid when it is hot.
18. Extreme caution must be used when
moving the kettle containing hot
water. Never lift the kettle by its lid.
Always use the body handle.
19. Do not switch your kettle on if it
is empty.

20. To protect from electrical hazard, do
not immerse the kettle, power base or
cord set in any liquid.
21. The kettle is only to be used with
the stand provided.
22. To protect against fire, do not
operated in the presence of
explosive and/or flammable fumes.
23. The appliance must not be immersed
in water.
24. This product is not designed for any
other uses other than those specified
in this booklet.
25. This appliance is intended to be
used in household only.
26. Save these instructions for
further reference.
27. Never let the kettle operate while
unattended.
28. Switch off the power supply and discon-
nect from mains supply when not in use,
before cleaning or other maintenance.
29. Never touch the hot parts of the
appliance.
30. Steam will cause burn. Be careful
when opening the lid with hot water.
31. Always turn off and unplug the
kettle when it is not in use.
32. Avoid using an extension cord,
extension cord may cause risk of fire
because of overheat.
Before first use
Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to maximum capacity and boil.
Discard the water and repeat the process.
Operation
1. The kettle should always be unplugged
when filling or adding water.
2. Fill the kettle with water to desired lev-
el. Do not overfill or there will be a risk
of spillage or spitting. The water level
indicator will assist you to measure the
correct amount. You can fill the kettle
via the spout or after opening the lid. Do
not forget to close the lid after filling;
otherwise the kettle will not automati-
cally switch off after use.
3. Do not fill with less than 0.5 litres of
water to prevent  tШΝ“mТЧ”ΝТЧНТМatТШЧ
the kettle running dry while operating.
4. Do not fill with more than liter of
water  tШΝ“maб”ΝТЧНТМatТШЧ .
5. An automatic safety cut-out has been
fitted for protection against overheating;
it will operate if the kettle is switched
on when containing insufficient
water. Always ensure the water
inside the kettle covers the minimum
mark on the water level indicator
gauge. If the automatic safety cut-out
has operated, switch the kettle off,
disconnect from the power outlet and
allow the kettle to cool down for 5 to
10 minutes. The refill with and switch
on, the kettle will work as normal.
6. Place the power base on a dry, flat
surface. Place the kettle on the power
base. The electrical connection will be
made automatically as the kettle
slides onto the power base.
7. Plug the cord set into an earthed
power socket and switch on by
pressing the on/off switch of the
kОttlОΝtШΝtСОΝ“ШЧ”ΝpШsТtТШЧέΝ
