This!reminder!is!provided!to!call!your!attention!to!Article!820-40!of!the!National!Electrical!Code!(Section!54!of!the!Canadian!Electrical!Code,!Part!

Low power standby mode

The!Power!button!(indicated!by!the!power!symbol)!on!this!TV!and!its!remote!co ntrol!puts!the!TV!into!a!very!low!power!s tandby!mo de!b ut!do es!

not!completely!turn!the!power!off.!To!completely!shut!the!power!off,!you!must!disconnect!the!power!cord!from!the!power!outlet.!The!mains!

plug/appliance!coupler!is!used!as!a!disconnect!device.!Therefore,!you!should!be!sure!that!the!TV!is!installed!in!a!manner!to!enable!the!power!

cord!to!be!disconnected!when!necessary.!!
