Unpacking
⊠Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.
⊠Remove all packing material.

âș Packaging materials should not be used as a play thing. There is a risk of
suïŹocation.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no
longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
âș If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period, so that in the event of a warranty claim you can package the appliance
ideally for its return.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
âș This appliance must only be connected to a properly installed
wall power socket providing electrical energy at the level
detailed on the rating plate.
âș Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in
ïuids or ïuids be allowed to permeate the housing. The ap-
pliance must not be exposed to moisture or used outdoors.
Should liquids enter the housing, disconnect the appliance
from the mains power socket immediately and arrange for it
to be repaired by a qualiïed technician.
âș In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the
appliance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
âș Disconnect the appliance by pulling on the plug itself, not on
the power cable.
âș Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and
protect the cable from being damaged.

cables to be replaced at once by qualiïed technicians or
our Customer Service Department.
âș Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route it in such a
way as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
âș Do not use extension cables.
âș Never hold the appliance, the power cable or the power
plug with wet hands.
âș Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.
