Free standing appliance
Fruits and vegetables should be placed in the vegetable & fruit drawer so as to
keep their moisture and freshness.
Tropical fruits like bananas and pineapples are not suitable for storage in
refrigerator. Objects that have strict requirement for temperature, such as blood
serum, vaccine and academic materials, should not be stored in refrigerator.
If you need to store a large amount of food, make ice, or require power cool &
power freeze, you may remove the freezer drawer and place frozen food directly
on evaporator plate.
NOTE
When ambient temperature is lower than 10ºC, the fridge is subject to electric
heating.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Internal accessories
Remove all shelves, door racks, baskets, covers and drawers. Use soft cloth
dipped in warm water or mild detergent (for cleaning kitchenware) to wipe
them clean. When detergent has been used, it must be wiped clean with water,
followed by drying with dry cloth.
Door seal strip
Liquid like oil or soy sauce sticking to door seal strip for a long time can easily
damage the seal, especially the seal on bottom of upper door, which should be
carefully cleaned. A piece of chopstick wound with cotton strip can be used to
clean the grooves. When the seal strip is to be inserted into the groove after
cleaning, first secure the four corners and then insert it section by section.
How to defrost the fridge
When frost layer gets thicker inside the fridge, refrigeration effect of the fridge may be impaired. In this case,
you may remove all food from the fridge, pack them properly, unplug the power supply and clean up water with
soft cloth after frost thaws. Plug on again the power cord and set up temperature for operation. Generally, the
freezer should be defrosted once or twice a year.
NOTE
1. The power plug of fridge must be removed before defrosting. Completely clean the freezer after
defrosting;
2. Generally, the best time for defrosting is when the freezer is empty or nearly empty.
3. Never use metal or sharp tools to defrost the freezer in order to avoid damage to the fridge.
4. Never use an electric heater to defrost the fridge.
Precautions for cleaning interior and exterior of the fridge
ꞏ Power plug must be pulled off the outlet before cleaning. The plugging on/off interval should be more than
five minutes.
ꞏ No water should be allowed to enter the light box during cleaning.
ꞏ Clean with soft towel dipped in warm water or mild detergent before cleaning it up with dry cloth.
ꞏ Do not clean with cleaner containing abrasive (such as toothpaste), acid substance, chemical solution (such
as alcohol) or polishing agent.
ꞏ To ensure operational performance of the fridge, clean it regularly.
NOTE
Check the following after maintenance: check the power cord for cracks and damage; check the power
plug which should be inserted into the outlet reliably; check the power plug for abnormal heating.
Disassembly of accessories
1.Refrigerator shelf
-Position of shelf can be changed according to height of container.
2.Freezer drawer
-Drawer can be pulled out to the stopper. It can be removed after tilting upward.
3.Vegetable & fruit drawer and its cover
-Pull out the basket by lifting the front side of the basket cover.
NOTE
Do not pull with force during disassembly in order to avoid damaging the fridge.
4.Egg tray, multi-purpose tray and bottle guard
-Lift up to remove them.
5.Vegetable & fruit drawer
-The drawer can keep moisture and freshness of fruits and vegetables as
the enclosed type can prevent cooled air from direct contact with fruits and
vegetables.
-Applicable for storage of vegetables and fruits.
6.Ice tray
-Pour cold boiled water or beverage into clean ice tray and put it into freezer.
-To remove the ice cubes, just twist the ice tray. Never bend the tray up and
down.
Troubleshooting
Symptoms Remedies
No refrigeration,
not chilling
enough or over-
chilling
Fridge not working,
no refrigeration
-Power plug not properly plugged in
-No power supply, failure of power socket
-Fridge power cut off during operation and reconnected not more
than five minutes later
Fridge not too cold
-Fridge door not properly shut
-Fridge close to heat source or exposed to direct sunlight
-Poor ventilation around fridge, causing slow heat dissipation
Fridge working for
a long time
-Frequent opening of fridge door or the door not properly shut
-Poor ventilation around fridge, causing slow heat dissipation
-A large amount of food put to storage at a time, leaving little space
for chilling air ventilation
Refrigerator
chamber too cold,
food frozen
-Refrigerating temperature set too low, higher temperature setting for
refrigerator chamber recommended
-Food stored in contact with chilling source on back wall of
refrigerator chamber
Symptoms Remedies
Both sides
heated,
producing off-
odour
Front box frame or
side plate of fridge
heated
-To prevent water condensation at the box frame, there configured
anti-condensation tubes inside the box frame which is not faulty but
normal when the fridge is heated during operation.
-Heat radiator (condenser) is mounted in either side of the fridge. It is
normal to have heated sides.
Off-odour inside
fridge
-Food with particular smell should be sealed in airtight package.
-Check for rotten food.
-Fridge interior needs to be cleaned.
Fridge
producing
strange noise
Fridge not seating
on a level surface
-Slightly sloping of the fridge will make operating noise higher. You
may turn the leveling leg beneath the fridge body to make the fridge
level.
Sound of airflow or
running water
-Only through flow of refrigerant in pipeline can quickly lower the
temperature inside fridge. Refrigerant is in either gas or liquid form.
It produces slight noise when flowing.
Low hum occurring
-Compressor is working. The hum is a little higher at starting. High
performance fridge is a little more noisy due to powerful compressor.
Sound of "click" or
"Boom"
-When you start or stop the refrigerator, the main control board, start
relay, overheat protector and other electrical elements produce
sounds like "click" or "Boom" due to frequent pick-ups or offs.
Sound of cracking
or “Poop”
-Fridge produces sound of cracking due to temperature change that
causes cracking of frozen food or due to thermal expansion and
contraction of evaporator and pipeline.
Condensation/
leak of water/
frosting/icing
Condensate on
middle beam and
box frame
-It occurs when ambient temperature is high.
-Wipe it dry with soft cloth.
Condensate in
vegetable & fruit
drawer
-When fridge door is kept open for quite a time.
-Liquid food is stored without cover.
Frost thaws and
overflows inside
box
-Water outlet blocked
-Remove blockage with drain plug or similar tool
Frosting or icing
on back wall inside
fridge
-Refrigeration pipeline in back wall of fridge is below zero Celsius
when the fridge is in operation. When humidity in the chamber is
higher, frosting or icing on back wall occurs. When refrigerator stops
working, automatic defrosting is activated, resulting in dewing and
water droplets.
-Cleaning once a month is recommended.
-Food or containers should not be placed against the back wall.
NOTE
The fridge reduces internal temperature via cycles such as compressor operation and refrigerant
circulation, thus guaranteeing freshness and nutrition of food stored in fridge. When the fridge is working,
you may hear some slight noise, which is normal. Please feel relieved in using the fridge.
NOTE
Ambient temperature is high in summer and the fridge dissipates heat slowly, which causes the
compressor to operate a longer time. We recommend users to set refrigerating temperature at 5℃ to 7℃.
Ambient temperature is low in winter and its difference from internal temperature of fridge decreases,
which could make you feel that the fridge is not chilling enough, and it is a normal phenomenon. We
recommend users to set refrigerating temperature at 3℃ to 4℃.

ꞏConfirm the sizes of your household door so as to make sure the refrigerator can pass through the door.
sizes of the refrigerator(Width*Depth*Height):546mm*610mm*1584mm.
ꞏRemove all packing assemblies, including internal tape and foams on both sides of glass shelves of the
fridge, etc.
ꞏProperly assemble the shelves for initial use by inserting the lugs on both sides into grooves on both sides of
inner liner in order for perfect positioning.
ꞏThe bottom padding foam of fridge must be removed for initial use.
1.If placement of the refrigerator is a little uneven, level of the
refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the leveling leg beneath the
cabinet (turning it counterclockwise to raise the height). In lower
part of the leveling leg there is an adjusting hole, through which
adjustment can be made by inserting simple tools like a crosshead
screwdriver. To protect surfaces of both sides, protective film is
applied to both sides of a new appliance before delivery. If you are
sure appearance of the appliance is free from defects, you may
remove the film for aesthetic purpose.
NOTE
ꞏThe refrigerator should be placed on a hard, level ground. Uneven
placement can cause noise and vibration.
ꞏPlacement on weak floor will strengthen the noise.
ꞏPlacement on carpet requires a solid backing plate, on which the
refrigerator stands to prevent color change of the carpet caused by heat
under the fridge or prevent the carpet from blocking heat dissipation.
ꞏFor level and stable placement of the refrigerator, the leveling leg must
be pressed tightly against floor and the refrigerator is tilted slightly
backward for easy shut of the door.
