1 safety instructions for operating the device .
This product complies with the requirements of the following European Union Directives for CE conformity: 2014/30/EU
(Electromagnetic Compatibility), 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage), 2011/65/EU (RoHS).
To ensure the operational safety of the device and to avoid serious injuries due to current or voltage ashovers or short
circuits, the following safety instructions for operating the device must be observed.
Damages caused by non-observance of these instructions are excluded from claims of any kind.
ï‚· This device must not be used in high energy circuits.
ï‚· Before connecting the device to a power outlet, check that the voltage setting on the device matches the existing
mains voltage
ï‚· Connect the device only to sockets with grounded protective conductor
ï‚· Do not place the device on a damp or wet surface.
ï‚· Check the device, test leads and other accessories for possible damage or bare or kinked cables and wires before
commissioning. If in doubt, do not carry out any measurements
ï‚· Replace defective fuses only with a fuse corresponding to the original value. Never short-circuit the fuse or fuse
holder.
ï‚· It is essential to keep the ventilation slots in the housing free (if covered, there is a risk of heat accumulation inside
the device).
ï‚· Do not insert any metal objects through the ventilation slots.
ï‚· Do not place any liquids on the device (risk of short circuit if the device tips over).
 Do not operate the device near strong magnetic elds (motors, transformers, etc.)
ï‚· Never operate the device if it is not completely closed.
ï‚· Use only 4mm safety test cable sets to ensure proper functioning of the device.
ï‚· Only carry out measurement work in dry clothing and preferably in rubber shoes or on an insulating mat.
ï‚· It is essential to observe the warnings on the device.
ï‚· Device must not be operated unattended
ï‚· Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, extreme humidity or moisture.
ï‚· Avoid strong vibration.
ï‚· Keep hot soldering guns away from the immediate vicinity of the device.
ï‚· Before starting the measuring operation, the device should be stabilized to the ambient temperature (important
when transporting from cold to warm rooms and vice versa)
ï‚· Clean the housing regularly with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Do not use any corrosive scouring agents.
ï‚· This device is suitable for indoor applications only.
 Avoid any proximity to explosive and ammable substances.
 Opening of the device and maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualied service technicians.
ï‚· Do not place the device with its front side on the workbench or work surface to avoid damage to the controls.
 Do not make any technical modications to the device.
ï‚· -Measuring instruments do not belong in children's hands-
Cleaning of the device:
Before cleaning the device, disconnect the power plug from the socket. Clean the device only with a damp, lint-free cloth.
Use only commercially available detergents. When cleaning, make absolutely sure that no liquid gets into the interior of the
device. This could lead to a short circuit and destruction of the device.
