PA Horn Speaker

These instructions are intended for installers

with sufﬁcient knowledge of 100 V technol-

ogy for PA applications. Please read the in-

structions carefully prior to installation and

keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

This speaker has especially been designed for PA

systems that work with 100 V technology. Due to

the weatherproof housing (IP 66), it is also suita-

ble for out door applications.

2 Important Notes

The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives

of the EU and is therefore marked with .

•

Protect the speaker against excessive temper-

atures (admissible ambient temperature range

−20 °C to +50 °C).

•

For cleaning, only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly

wet; never use chemicals or aggressive deter-

gents.

•

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no lia-

bility for any resulting personal damage or ma-

terial damage will be accepted if the speaker

is used for other purposes than originally in-

tended, if it is not mounted in an expert way,

not correctly connected, or if it is overloaded.

If the speaker is to be put out of opera-

tion deﬁnitely, dispose of the speaker in

accordance with local regulations.

3 Installation

Tightly screw the speaker with the mounting

bracket at a suitable place. To adjust the speaker,

release the locking nuts of the bracket, move the

speaker accord ingly, and retighten the nuts.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING During operation, there is a hazard

of contact with a voltage of up to

100 V at the speaker cable. Installa-

tion must be made by skilled person-

nel only.

The connection must be weatherproof for out-

door installations.

Observe the load of the PA ampliﬁer by the

speakers. An overload may damage the ampli-

ﬁer! The total power of all speakers connected

must not exceed the ampliﬁer power.

1) If the PA system is switched on, ﬁrst switch it

off completely before connecting it!

2) Connect the 100 V audio line of the PA ampli-

ﬁer to the white and black cores of the speaker

line. Connect the green-yellow core to the pro-

tective conductor.

When connecting multiple speakers, make

sure that all speakers have the same polarity

(e. g. black core = negative pole).

3) Adjust the desired nominal load by the speaker

with the rotary switch on the rear side. Use a

screwdriver to turn the switch into the corre-

sponding position:

ELA-Druckkammerlautsprecher

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installa-

teure mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V- Be-

schallungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anlei-

tung vor der Installation gründlich durch und

heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in

ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik ar-

beiten. Durch das wetterfeste Gehäuse (IP 66) ist

er auch für den Außenbereich geeignet.

2 Wichtige Hinweise

Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.

•

Schützen Sie den Lautsprecher vor großer Hitze

und Kälte (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich

−20 °C bis +50 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-

ckenes oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch,

auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder scharfe Rei-

nigungsmittel.

•

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht

fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen

oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus

resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und

keine Garantie für den Lautsprecher übernom-

men werden.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen

Sie ihn gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.

3 Montage

Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an ge-

eigneter Stelle festschrauben. Zum Ausrichten die

Feststellmuttern des Bügels lösen, den Lautspre-

cher entsprechend schwenken und die Muttern

wieder fest anziehen.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährli-

che Spannung bis 100 V an der An-

schlussleitung an. Die Installation darf

nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.

Bei einer Außenmontage muss der Anschluss

wetterfest ausgeführt werden.

Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers

durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann

den Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der

Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher

darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.

1) -Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zu

erst komplett ausschalten!

2) Die 100-V-Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstärker an

die weiße und schwarze Ader der Lautsprecher-

leitung anschließen. Die grüngelbe Ader an den

Schutzleiter anschließen.

Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautspre-

chern darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher

alle gleich gepolt werden (z. B schwarze Ader

= Minuspol).

3) Die gewünschte Nennbelastung durch den

Lautsprecher mit dem Drehschalter auf der

Rückseite einstellen. Mithilfe eines Schrau-

bendrehers den Schalter in die entsprechende

Position drehen:

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possé-

dant des connaissances spéciﬁques en sono-

risation ligne 100 V. Veuillez lire la notice avec

attention avant l‘installation et conservez-la

pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une

utilisation dans des installations Public Adress

fonctionnant en technique ligne 100 V. Il est

adapté à une utilisation en extérieur grâce au

boîtier résistant aux intempéries IP 66.

2 Conseils importants

Le haut-parleur répond à toutes les directives né-

cessaires de l’Union Européenne et porte donc le

symbole .

•

Protégez le haut-parleur d’une grande chaleur

et du froid (plage de température de fonction-

nement autorisée −20 °C à +50 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec ou lé-

gèrement humidiﬁé et doux, en aucun cas de

produits chimiques ou de détergents abrasifs.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages matériels ou corporels résultants

si le haut-parleur est utilisé dans un but autre

que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est

pas correctement monté ou branché ou s’il y

a surcharge ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait

caduque.

Lorsque le haut-parleur est déﬁnitive-

ment retiré du service, éliminez-le confor-

mément aux directives locales.

3 Montage

Vissez le haut-parleur via l’étrier de montage à

l’endroit voulu. Pour l’orienter, desserrez les écrous

de blocage de l’étrier, placez le haut-parleur à

votre convenance puis resserrez les écrous.

4 Branchement électrique

AVERTISSE-

MENT

Pendant le fonctionnement, une

tension dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V

est présente sur le câble de bran-

chement. Seul un personnel quali-

ﬁé doit effectuer l’installation.

Pour un montage en extérieur, le branchement

doit être effectué de manière à résister aux in-

tempéries.

Faites attention à la charge de l’ampliﬁcateur PA

par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut en-

dommager l’ampliﬁcateur. La somme des puis-

sances de l’ensemble des haut-parleurs reliés ne

doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Si l’installation Public Adress est allumée, vous

devez tout d’abord l’éteindre en totalité !

2) Reliez le câble audio 100 V de l’ampliﬁca-

teur Public Adress au conducteur blanc et au

conducteur noir du câble haut-parleur ; le

conducteur vert jaune doit être relié au conduc-

teur de mise à la terre.

Lors du branchement de plusieurs haut-

parleurs, veillez à ce que les haut-parleurs aient

tous la même polarité (p. ex. conducteur noir =

pôle moins).

3) Réglez la puissance nominale voulue par le

haut-parleur via l’interrupteur rotatif sur la face

arrière. A l’aide d’un tournevis, tournez l’inter-

rupteur sur la position voulue :

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte ad installatori

con conoscenze speciﬁche nella tecnica della

sonorizzazione 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leg-

gerle attentamente prima dell’installazione e

di conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Questo altoparlante è previsto specialmente per

impianti PA che lavorano con uscita audio a 100 V.

Grazie alla custodia in ABS (IP 66) è adatto anche

per impieghi all’esterno.

2 Avvertenze importanti

L’altoparlante è conforme a tutte le direttive rile-

vanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Proteggere l’altoparlante dal forte calore e dal

freddo (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra

−20 °C e +50 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,

asciutto o inumidito; non impiegare in nessun

caso prodotti chimici o acqua.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio non

a regola d’arte, di collegamento scorretto o di

sovraccarico dell’altoparlante, non si assume

nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni con-

sequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume

nessuna garanzia per l’altoparlante.

Se si desidera eliminare l’altoparlante

deﬁnitivamente, consegnarlo per lo

smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale per

il riciclaggio.

3 Montaggio

Avvitare l’altoparlante in un punto adatto ser-

vendosi della staffa di montaggio. Per orientarlo

allentare i dadi di bloccaggio della staffa, girare

l’altoparlante e stringere bene i dadi.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTI-

MENTO

Durante il funzionamento, il cavo

di collegamento presenta una ten-

sione pericolosa ﬁno a 100 V. L’in-

stallazione dev’essere eseguita solo

da una persona esperta.

Nel caso di montaggio all’esterno, il collega-

mento deve essere resistente alle intemperie.

Tener presente il carico dell’ampliﬁcatore da

parte degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può

danneggiare l’ampliﬁcatore! La somma delle

potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non

deve superare la potenza dell’ampliﬁcatore.

1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre spegnerlo

prima completamente!

2) Collegare il cavo 100 V dall’ampliﬁcatore PA

con i conduttori nero e bianco del cavo alto-

parlante. Collegare il conduttore giallo-verde

con il conduttore di terra.

Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti

fare attenzione all’identica polarità di tutti gli

altoparlanti (p. es. conduttore nero = negativo).

3) Impostare la potenza nominale dell’altopar-

lante con il commutatore sul retro. Portare il

commutatore nella relativa posizione serven-

dosi di un cacciavite:

Głośnik PA

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instala-

torów posiadających wiedzę w zakresie syste-

mów PA pracujących w technice 100 V. Przed

rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę zapoznać

się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do

wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Głośnik PA przeznaczony do instalacji w technice

100 V. Dzięki wodoodpornej obudowie (IP 66), na-

daje się do stosowania na zewnątrz pomieszczeń.

2 Środki bezpieczeństwa

Głośnik spełnia wszystkie wymogi norm UE i dla-

tego posiada oznaczenie certyﬁkatem .

•

Należy chronić głośnik przed wysokimi tempe-

raturami (dopuszczalna temperatura otoczenia

pracy wynosi −20 °C do +50 °C).

•

Do czyszczenia należy używać suchej lub zwilżo-

nej miękkiej ściereczki, nie używać silnych deter-

gentów i środków chemicznych.

•

Producent i dostawca nie ponoszą odpowie-

dzialności za powstałe szkody: uszkodzenia

sprzętu bądź obrażenia użytkownika, jeżeli gło-

śnik był używany niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem,

niepoprawnie zainstalowany, podłączony lub

przeciążony.

Jeśli głośnik nie będzie już więcej uży-

wany, wskazane jest przekazanie go do

miejsca utylizacji odpadów, aby został

zniszczony bez szkody dla środowiska.

3 Montaż

Przymocować głośnik w odpowiednim miejscu za

pomocą uchwytu montażowego. W celu dokład-

nego ustawienia głośnika należy poluzować śruby

mocujące głośnik w uchwycie, ustawić głośnik w

żądanym kierunku oraz dokręcić śruby.

4 Połączenie Elektryczne

UWAGA Podczas pracy głośnika pomiędzy

końcówkami kabla głośnikowego

występuje niebezpiecznie wysokie

napięcie 100 V. Instalacja może być

przeprowadzana jedynie przez od-

powiednio wyszkolony personel.

Podczas montażu zewnętrznego, należy pamię-

tać, aby zabezpieczyć połączenia przed zamok-

nięciem.

Należy zwrócić uwagę na obciążenie wzmac-

niacza przez głośniki. Przeciążenie wzmacniacza

spowoduje jego uszkodzenie! Sumaryczna moc

głośników nie może przekraczać mocy wzmac-

niacza.

1) Jeżeli system PA jest włączony należy wyłączyć

go całkowicie przed dokonywaniem jakichkol-

wiek połączeń!

2) Należy podłączyć sygnał 100 V wychodzący ze

wzmacniacza PA z czarnym oraz białym prze-

wodem głośnika. Zielono-żółty przewód należy

podłączyć do żyły uziemienia.

Przy podłączaniu dwóch i więcej głośników

należy podłączać je w ten sam sposób (np.

czarny przewód = biegun ujemny).

3) Ustawić nominalną moc wejściową głośnika

za pomocą przełącznika obrotowego znajdują-

cego się w tylnej części głośnika. Do tego celu

należy użyć śrubokręta.

para Megafonía

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instala-

dores con conocimientos especíﬁcos sobre

la tecnología de 100 V para megafonía. Lea

atentamente estas instrucciones antes de la

instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Este altavoz está especialmente fabricado para

una utilización en sistemas de megafonía que

funcionan con tecnología de 100 V. Gracias a su

recinto resistente a la intemperie (IP66) puede uti-

lizarse también el el exterior.

2 Notas Importantes

El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevan-

tes de la UE y por lo tanto está marcado con el

símbolo .

•

Proteja el altavoz del calor y del frió excesivo

(rango de temperatura ambiente admisible

−20 °C a +50 °C).

•

Para la limpieza, sólo utilice un trapo suave, seco

o ligeramente humedecido; no utilice nunca ni

productos químicos ni detergentes agresivos.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad

alguna por cualquier daño personal o material

resultante si el altavoz se utiliza para otros ﬁnes

diferentes a los originalmente concebidos, si no

lo instala un experto, no se conecta adecuada-

mente o si se sobrecarga.

Si el altavoz se va a dejar fuera de servi-

cio deﬁnitivamente, deshágase del alta-

voz según las normativas locales.

3 Instalación

Atornille el altavoz vía el soporte de montaje en

el lugar deseado. Para alinear el altavoz, aﬂoje las

tuercas de ﬁjación del soporte, mueva el altavoz y

apriete las tuercas.

4 Conexión Eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Durante el funcionamiento,

está presente un voltaje peli-

groso hasta 100 V en el cable

de conexión. Sólo un técnico

debe realizar la instalación.

Para instalaciones en el exterior, la conexión

debe ser resistente a la intemperie.

Preste atención la carga de los altavoces en el

ampliﬁcador. ¡Una sobrecarga puede dañar el

ampliﬁcador! La potencia total de todos los al-

tavoces conectados no puede sobrepasar la po-

tencia del ampliﬁcador.

1) ¡Si el sistema de megafonía está conectado,

debe antes de todo desconectarlo en su tota-

lidad!

2) Conecte el cable de audio 100 V del ampliﬁ-

cador de megafonía con el conductor blanco

y con el conductor negro del cable de altavoz;

conecte el conductor verde amarillo al conduc-

tor de tierra.

Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegú-

rese de que todos los altavoces tienen la misma

polaridad (p. ej. conductor negro = polo nega-

tivo).

3) -Ajuste la potencia nominal deseada por el al

tavoz vía el interruptor rotativo de la parte tra-

sera. Con un atornillador, gire el interruptor en

la posición deseada:
