Use of controls, adjustments or the performance of procedures
other than those specied herein may result in hazardous
radiation exposure. To prevent direct exposure to laser beam, do
not try to open the enclosure.
For models using a battery
This device is equipped with a portable battery or accumulator.
CAUTION: Risk of re or explosion if the battery is replaced by
an incorrect type.
How to Safely remove the batteries or the battery pack
from the equipment: To Remove the old batteries or battery
pack, follow the assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent
contamination of the environment and bring on possible threat
to human and/or animal health, the old batteries or the battery
pack must be put in an appropriate container at designated
collection points. Do not dispose of batteries or battery pack
together with other waste. It is recommended that you use local,
free reimbursement systems batteries or battery packs, (may
not be available in your area). The batteries or the battery pack
should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re
or the like.
For models using a built-in battery
Do not store or transport at pressures lower than 11.6 kPa
(0.116 bar) and at above 15,000 m (9.32 miles) altitude.

Installing and Using the Product

b Connecting the Speaker to a Smartphone Using Bluetooth
A Press the Power button to turn on the product.
B Press and hold the Function button on the product until you hear a notication sound. Bluetooth LED blinks for 60
seconds.
C Tap the Settings button on your smartphone and select . Turn on the function. ( > Bluetooth Bluetooth Off
On)
D From the list of smartphone devices, nd and tap on “LG-RP4(XX).”
E Once the smartphone is connected to the product via Bluetooth Bluetooth, the LED will turn on. Play a desired track in the
music app on your smartphone.
c Playing Music from the USB
A Open the back cover of the product and plug the USB storage device into the USB terminal.
B Press the Power button to turn on the product.
C Press the Function button on the product repeatedly to select the USB function. The USB LED will turn on.
D Press the Play/Pause button to enjoy the music.
d Connecting to an External Device
A Open the back cover of the product and connect the external device to the AUX. IN terminal via a 3.5 mm stereo cable.
B Press the Power button to turn on the product.
C Press the Function button on the product repeatedly to select AUX. The AUX LED will turn on. If you play music on the
connected external device, you can start listening on this product.
e Connecting to the LG XBOOM App
A Find the app on the Google Play or App Store and install it on your smartphone.LG XBOOM
B Run the app and use its functions.LG XBOOM
f Power Saving
If there is no playback or button input for 15 minutes, the product turns off automatically. On the app, you can enable or LG XBOOM
disable [Auto Power Management].

yDamage or failure caused by transportation and/or handling, including scratches, dents, chips, and/or other damage to the nish of
your Product, unless such damage results from defects in materials or workmanship, and is reported within one (1) week of delivery.
yDamage to or failure of any display, open box, discounted, or refurbished Product.
yProduct with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered, or cannot be readily determined.
yIncreases in utility costs and additional utility expenses.
yAny accessories and software not approved or specied by LG.
yDamage or failure that results from Institutional or commercial use.
