9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug
has two blades and a third grounding prong. The
wide blade or the third prong are provided for your
safety. When the provided plug does not îżt into your
outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or
pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories speciîżed by the
manufacturer.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
speciîżed by the manufacturer, or sold with the
apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury
from tip-over. Unplug this apparatus during lightning
storms or when unused for long periods of time.

the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move away from any îuorescent lighting, as
it may be the cause.

or equivalent type.

1. switch to the AM or Adjust FM/AM/WB
FM position.
2. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio
and adjust to the desired volume.
3. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune the radio.
Playing the AM/FM Radio
1. switch to the WB Adjust FM/AM/WB
position.
2. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio
and adjust to the desired volume.
3. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune one of the
indicated weatherband frequencies.

Playing Weatherband
Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the
3.5mm Audio Input and the audio output
on an MP3 player or other audio device.
2. Turn the Volume dial to power the unit on
and adjust to the desired volume.
3. Use the native controls on the connected
MP3 player or other audio source to play
your audio through the unit.
When not in use, make sure to disconnect
the 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

1. Adjust the position of the Telescopic FM
Antenna to improve FM radio reception.
An AM antenna is built into the unit. To
improve AM radio reception, adjust the
position of the unit.
Radio Reception
Make sure both the radio and the
î
ashlight are turned to the Off position
before using the Dynamo Hand-Crank.
1. Pull the Dynamo Hand-Crank outwards
from the back of the unit.
2. Crank the handle at a speed of
approximately 2 turns per second.
The Battery Indicator will turn red to
indicate charging.
3. Turning the handle slower than the
recommended speed will result in the
battery not receiving a charge.
NOTE: When using the unit for long
periods of time, it is recommended to
shut off both the î
ashlight and radio
and recharge the battery to full capacity
before continuing use.
NOTE: To preserve the battery, charge
the unit using the Dynamo Hand-Crank
at least once a month.
1. Using the appropriate charging cable
(not included), connect one end to
the device and the other to the USB
Charger on the unit.
Make sure both the radio and the
î
ashlight are turned to the Off position
before using the Dynamo Hand-Crank.
2. Pull the outwards Dynamo Hand-Crank
from the back of the unit.
3. Crank the handle at a speed of
approximately 2 turns per second.
4. The device will charge slowly.
Note: To charge an iPhone in an
emergency situation, crank the handle
continuously for 5-10 min.
1. Pull the outwards from Solar Panel
the side of the unit, and face the panel
upward toward direct sunlight and turn
the unit off.
2. The internal battery will charge once the
solar panel detects enough sunlight,
3. Note: To fully charge the unit on solar
power alone may take 15+ hours
depending on weather conditions.

the device and the other to the USB
Charger on the unit.
2. The device will now charge.
Requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
Adjust the Battery switch to
the AA Batteries setting.
