TONE MASTER SUPER REVERB
Âź
The Tone Master Super Reverb amplifier uses massive digital
processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat:
faithfully modeling the circuitry and 45-watt power output
of an original Super Reverb tube amp. Using a high-perfor-
mance 200-watt digital power amp to achieve the headroom
and dynamic range of a real vintage Super Reverb tube amp,
paired with the pronounced power and clarity of four JensenÂź
P10R speakers and a lightweight cabinet, the result is tubeless
Super Reverb tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistin-
guishable from the all-tube original. And with all these fea-
tures, the Tone Master Super Reverb is in fact about only half
the weight of an all-tube Super Reverb.
Front panel features give guitarists a playing experience iden-
tical to the tube version, including Fenderâs world-standard
reverb and tremolo effects. Additional rear-panel features
deliver modern convenience and flexibilityâincluding an out-
put power selector for full power and five attenuated settings,
balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet
simulations, mute switch for silent stage or recording use, USB
port for firmware upgrades, and more.

A. NORMAL CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instrument here.
Normal input 1 produces full sensitivity; normal input 2
has adjusted sensitivity (-6dB) for slightly darker tone and
cleaner response with high-gain instruments.
B. NORMAL CHANNEL BRIGHT SWITCH: High-frequency
boost for normal channel.
C. NORMAL CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of
both normal channel inputs.
D. NORMAL CHANNEL TREBLE: Controls treble response of
both normal channel inputs.
E. NORMAL CHANNEL BASS: Controls bass response of both
normal channel inputs.
F. VIBRATO CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instrument here to
use built-in âvibratoâ (tremolo) and reverb eîects. Input 1
produces full sensitivity; input 2 has adjusted sensitivity
(-6dB) for slightly darker tone and cleaner response with
high-gain instruments.
G. VIBRATO CHANNEL BRIGHT SWITCH: High-frequency
boost for âvibratoâ (tremolo) channel.
H. VIBRATO CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of both
vibrato channel inputs.
I. VIBRATO CHANNEL TREBLE: Controls treble response of
both normal channel inputs.
J. VIBRATO CHANNEL MIDDLE: Controls midrange response
of both vibrato channel inputs.
K. VIBRATO CHANNEL BASS: Controls bass response of both
vibrato channel inputs.
L. REVERB: Controls reverb eîect level. No reverb is heard when
control is turned fully counterclockwise. Reverb can also be
turned on and oî using included two-button footswitch.
M. SPEED: Controls âvibratoâ (tremolo) eîect rate.
N. INTENSITY: Controls âvibratoâ (tremolo) eîect
depth. No eîect is heard when control is turned fully
counterclockwise. Eîect can also be turned on and oî
using included two-button footswitch.
O. POWER JEWEL: Illuminates red when ampliîer is
on; îashes between red and amber during warmup.
Illuminates amber in MUTE mode (R).

REAR PANEL
P. IEC INLET: Connect included power cord to a grounded
outlet in accordance with the input power voltage and
frequency beside inlet. Universal 100V-240V operation.
Q. POWER: Turns ampliîer on and oî.
R. MUTE: Mutes power amp. When in MUTE mode, XLR line
output remains active for studio or âquiet stageâ use, and
POWER JEWEL (O) illumination changes from red to amber.
S. OUTPUT POWER: Selector switch oîers full power (45
watts) and îve other attenuated wattage settings that tailor
room/venue overall loudness. Set amp front-panel channel
volume to personal preference for tube-emulated response,
then set OUTPUT POWER to preferred level.
T. CABINET SIM: When using XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT
(W), this switch oîers three diîerent tonal optionsâa îat,
uncolored amp signal without speaker cabinet emulation
(OFF); and two impulse response (IR) proîles emulating
diîerent speaker/ microphone-placement combinations:
I Dynamic microphone close-micâed at edge R PROFILE 1:
of speaker cone center cap for pronounced attack and
deînition. IR created using a ShureÂź SM57 microphone.
IR PROFILE 2: Ribbon mic, close-micâed for increased
smoothness and bass response. IR created using a Royer
LabsÂź R-121 Studio Ribbon microphone.
U. BALANCED LINE OUTPUT LEVEL: Adjusts output level of
XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT (W) for external devices and
systems (i.e., PA and recording gear), whether mic or line level.
V. GROUND LIFT: When using the XLR BALANCED LINE
OUTPUT (W), engaging this button may eliminate hum or
buzz resulting from connection to improperly grounded
equipment.
W. XLR BALANCED LINE OUTPUT: For balanced connection
to external devices and systems (i.e., PA and recording
gear). XLR line output remains active when amp is in
MUTE mode (R).
X. FOOTSWITCH: Connect included two-button footswitch
for reverb and tremolo on/oî here.
Y. USB PORT (NOT SHOWN): For îrmware updates, a USB
port is located on the underside of the chassis beneath
the OUTPUT POWER section. Visit fender.com/îrmware/
support for periodic îrmware updates that improve and
enhance the Tone Master experience.
