’64 Custom Deluxe Reverb®-Amp
Terric for any kind of music, Fender’s Deluxe Reverb-Amp is simply
one of the most versatile and beloved guitar ampliers of all time. It
delivers quintessential Fender tonal response, reverb and tremolo;
and it is the perfect size for guitarists who want a moderately
powered amp for any stage or studio situation. And in the modern
pedalboard era, it is the perfect platform for tone building.
Highly collectable 1960s models bring big money on the vintage
gear market. These originals, as well as long-running Fender reissue
models, are used every day on every stage and in every venue
worldwide. Hand-wired in Corona, California, the 20-watt ’64 Custom
Deluxe Reverb-Amp joins this prestigious group with custom channel
modications, new parts and more. Premium features include:
• Hand-wired modied AB763 circuit with normal and bright
channels, each with tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo
• Fender Vintage Blue tone capacitors
• Four 12AX7 and two 12AT7 preamp tubes
• 5AR4/GZ34 rectier tube
• Matched pair of 6V6 power tubes
• 20 watts output power
• 12” Jensen® C-12Q speaker for warm clean tones and moderate
breakup
• Solid pine cabinet for resonance and lighter weight
• Extra-heavy textured vinyl covering
• Lightly aged silver grille cloth
• Footswitch and amp cover
Control Panel
A. NORMAL CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instruments here. These
two inputs provide sweetened vintage frequency response as
per the popular “bright cap removal” modication. Normal input
1 produces full sensitivity; Normal input 2 has lower sensitivity
(-6dB) for cleaner response with high-output and pre-amplied
instruments.
B. NORMAL CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of the
normal channel.
C. NORMAL CHANNEL TREBLE AND BASS: Controls respective high-
frequency and low-frequency signal levels of the normal channel.
D. BRIGHT CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instruments here. These
two inputs access traditional 1960s “Black Panel” tone circuitry,
which accentuates high-mid and treble frequencies. Bright input
1 produces full sensitivity; Bright input 2 has lower sensitivity
(-6dB) for cleaner response with high-output and pre-amplied
instruments.
E. BRIGHT CHANNEL VOLUME: Controls volume level of the
bright channel.
F. BRIGHT CHANNEL TREBLE AND BASS: Controls respective high-
frequency and low-frequency signal levels of the bright channel.
G. REVERB: Controls reverb eect level. No reverb eect is heard
when this control is turned fully counterclockwise. Reverb
can also be turned on and o using the included two-button
footswitch.
H. SPEED: Controls rate of the tremolo eect. The included
footswitch must be plugged in for the tremolo eect to function.
I. INTENSITY: Controls depth of the tremolo eect. No
tremolo eect is heard when this control is turned fully
counterclockwise. As noted above in item “H,” the included
footswitch must be plugged in for the tremolo eect to function.
J. :POWER JEWEL Illuminates while amplier is on.
