INSTRUCTIONS
WARNINGTo reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
or injury, read all instructions before using this device:
• This device is intended for household use only.
• Do not leave this device unattended when it is plugged in.
Unplug it from the outlet when you are not using it and before
servicing.
• Always turn o this device before connecting or disconnecting
the handheld vacuum cleaner.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Do not use this device as a toy. Pay extra attention when used
by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only the
manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• If the device is not working as it should, or has been dropped,
damaged, or dropped into water, contact our customer service
for advice and help.
• Do not unplug the adapter by pulling on the cord. To unplug,
grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle the plug or device with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings (besides normal vacuum
operation). Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of
dust, lint, hair, and anything else that may reduce airflow.
• Keep loose clothing, hair, and all parts of the body (such as
fingers) away from openings and moving parts.
• Turn o all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as
gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as
cigarettes, matches, or hot ash.
• Do not use without dust collector or filter in-place.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device shall
not be performed by children without supervision.
• The device is only to be used with the power supply unit
provided.
• For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the
detachable charging base provided with this device.
• The external flexible cable or cord of the power supply unit
cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the power supply
unit needs to be disposed of.
• The battery must be removed from the device before the device
is disposed of.
• The device must be disconnected from the mains supply when
removing the battery.
• A used battery should be placed in a sealed plastic bag and
disposed of safely according to local environmental regulations.
To remove the battery from the device, first use a screwdriver
to disassemble the main body enclosure. Unscrew the battery
compartment screws and take the battery out. Cut one wire at a
time with wire cutters to disconnect the wiring.

Clean the rolling brush

Carefully cut off any hair or fibers tangled in the rolling brush with the
supplied cleaning tool or scissors.
Allow the filter and rolling brush to air-dry thoroughly before replacing.

The power indicator will flash when the battery is low on power.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the main power supply
before cleaning or maintenance.
Clean the dust collector and the high-performance filter

Empty dust from the dust collector and the high-performance filter
weekly. Tap to remove excess dust.
Rinse the filter assembly with water if it becomes too dirty.
NOTE: Washing the high-performance filter with water will degrade its
performance. After washing the filter three times, it is recommended to
replace with a new one for best cleaning performance.
Air-dry the high-performance filter thoroughly before reusing. A wet
filter may affect the cleaning power or even damage HomeVac Duo.
Replace the filter assembly.
Insert the dust collector into the main body.
Excess dust inside the dust collector will clump together if moisture is
present and reduce suction power. Regularly clean the dust collector
to ensure strong suction power and to prevent unpleasant odors from
developing.

Using Your HomeVac Duo
Upright mode

Turn it on.
Adjust suction power.
Press Power Saving Button to toggle
between Normal and Power Saving
Mode.
Handheld mode
Press handheld mode release button and pull out handheld vacuum
cleaner.
Select and fit attachment to handheld vacuum cleaner unit.
Turn on handheld vacuum cleaner.

If suction power is low, empty the dust collector, clean the filter and
remove any obstructions from the nozzle.
