Using the Heater
Main Elements - See Fig 1.
1. Power indicator light
2. Standby thermostat
3. Air outlet grille
4. USB charge port
5. Safety tilt switch
Standby Thermostat - see Fig. 2
The heat output is controlled by the
thermostat, according to the local
area temperature.
Turn the thermostat knob fully
clockwise to maximum setting
initially. When the area is warm
enough, reduce the setting slowly
until the heater just clicks off.
The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain your local
area temperature. An audible click may be heard when the
thermostat operates - this is normal.
Note: If the heater does not come on when the thermostat
is at a low setting, this is normally because the local area
is warmer than the thermostat setting and is not a fault.
Position will put the heater into standby mode (unless
the temperature is approximately 5°C). This is a special
setting to enable the product to be used as a charger
throughout the year.
Safety - Overheat Protection and Tilt Switch
For your safety, this appliance is tted with a thermal cut-out.
In the event that the product overheats, the cut-out switches
the heater off automatically. To bring the heater back into
operation, remove the cause of overheating, then turn off
the electrical supply to the heater for a few minutes.
When the heater has cooled sufciently reconnect and
switch on the heater.
If the cut-out operates repeatedly, contact your supplier.
The heater is also tted with a tilt switch, so in the event
the heater gets accidentally knocked over the product will
not operate.
USB Charge Port
This product also has the facility of a USB charge port which
supplies a 5V 2.1A supply. Please ensure that your device
is suitable before connecting to the USB port. It is designed
